So. Many. Updates. It’s annoying.
The app is great and useful, especially when you can add widgets to your Home Screen… except for one thing. The app releases a new update practically every week (or so it feels) and it doesn’t let you use the app, view it in your widgets, or anything if you haven’t updated it yet. You also have to re-sign in every time the app updates, so the auto update feature on the iPhone doesn’t help either.
Deleting my account and the app as it’s a waste to pay for this when you can’t even use it half the time without having to manually redownload and resign into the app every other day lol

Good, but support is challenging once the clankers can’t help you
Cool concept, but I had challenges typical of an AI-first company. I had a very simple need to reset the trust process so I could start a regular will. The clankers won’t do this. My financial planner that I met with said he would do this and didn’t. I left my email so someone would get back to me and somehow this didn’t work until I did it a second time.
Given that the app is supposed to help you keep track of things, it’s ironic that this has become one more thing to keep track of, that doesn’t do what you ask.
I did get a response to this review with an email I could’ve used for a fifth try to fix things. Fortunately, the fourth try sorted it out.

Lost Connection
Bank no longer connects to Origin with 3 months remaining on annual subscription. Live customer support is non existent. Highly suggest finding alternative financial tracker.
No clutter
I settled for Origin as it felt right. There were other programs that worked good, but this one is the best fit, for me. Congrats, I am very particular haha.

Don’t let the reviews fool you they’re entering a sweepstakes. this app is paid subscription only! You have to pay for a yearly subscription to even access any options in the app.
Wow this thing powerful
I mean just getting the AI to get you going as a basis, super useful. Then you fine tune. I forgot I downloaded this January and then just opened it 5 months later and it has me totally figured out and dailing in AI driven strategies to improve personal finance performance
Budgeting made manageable !
Origin has honestly been one of the most helpful tools I’ve used for budgeting and financial awareness. The detailed tracking is easy to access in multiple views and formats, which makes understanding my finances feel much less overwhelming. The AI budgeting feature was especially impressive — it helped build a spending budget by category based on my actual habits and gave really useful insight into my spending, income, savings, ratios, and overall financial planning.
What I appreciated most was how grounded and informed it made me feel. Just having a clearer picture of my finances and where I could be more disciplined immediately took a huge weight of anxiety off my shoulders. It’s helped me feel more in control of my goals instead of avoiding my finances out of stress.

ok 5 stars — I really enjoy the personal financial advice
It does give much clarity on the state of my finances and contributes to a drastic decrease of financial stress however there’s simply no way they aren’t selling my data to some foreign company— I simply don’t care though.
Cater to Minimalism
My fav of this App is the simplified UI. So far like this App 9/10. One thing I hope is that it could have an option to differentiate the spending by the debit card and credit card, enabling the auto-calculation of the credit card bill dues.

My New Favorite
Tried the Origin budget app and honestly it’s pretty solid if you want something simple without all the noise. The layout is clean, syncing works without headaches, and it actually makes tracking spending feel manageable instead of overwhelming. It’s not super deep on features, but that’s kind of the point, it keeps you focused. Good option if you’re tired of overly complicated finance apps. Been using it for two days and have already been recommending it to everyone I know. Find myself opening after every transaction and categorizing whatever it is on the spot. Great app, but...
Great app but I might need to migrate because they do not support WeBull investment accounts. Tracking my retirement investments is a priority for me. I have waited for several months but it has not been added yet.
Neat but. . .
I like the ease of use but I hate that I have to constantly reconnect my account to update current income and expenses. Another issue I have is the duplicate transactions which give an inaccurate view of income and expenses. "Entered a sweepstakes for this review. Opinions are my own."
Fixed my Spending
I used this app after a friend referred me for it. I’m usually very careful with my finances and have separate buckets for everything but I still couldn’t save as much as I should have. With Origin, I knew exactly what I needed to fix in my expenditure and I’ve also become so much more careful with my money.
I get to see the trend of spending, I don’t thoughtlessly say “yes” to everything, and most of all, stopped impulse-buying.
Can’t wait to see all the new features coming up with it!

Almost Perfect
I am pretty impressed by this budget app, normally I don’t like them but this one does it pretty well. The only thing that isn’t great is that it doesn’t connect to IMPRINT software well, so all those cards won’t really work well. Other than that pretty much perfect.

Great App
I was looking to budget and saw Origin in the top 10 apps. It looked best for my situation. So far it has been very cool and great to track all my investments too. 401k, Roth, and multiple brokerage accounts. The AI is great.

Great App To keep things on track
I usually manually track everything but I decided to give this app a chance. It’s very easy to use and the AI aspect makes it even easier, high recommend.

Life on Easy Mode
I have been manually tracking my expenses on a daily basis and this just made my life for my finances on easy mode. I reflect on my expenses, my net worth, and am able to talk to the AI Chat bot on my true net proceeds and expenses and create clarity for a plan it provides. It’s not a “Yes Man” app, it genuinely provides feedback and works with you.

I love this app!
This app as opposed to other financial trackers literally has a built in AI that helps you with everything, aswell as the user interface is super easy to use and detailed. I will never switch back to rocketmoney!

Best budgeting tool on the market
This app is by far the best financial tracking tool ive ever used. Simple integration with banking, credit cards, retirement accounts. Even add in non traditional investments like BTC and crypto. The only other thing I would like to see is an API key
