O2D is required by all construction deliveries taking place across Croydon Growth Zone. Failure to use the app will result in your delivery being turned away.
But what is Origin to Destination? O2D is a delivery tracker App for Croydon Growth Zone. It is a real-time delivery management system with a unique Driver Contact App for keeping track of, rerouting, diverting, and cancelling deliveries.
O2D increases supply-chain communication, process transparency and efficiency of deliveries. It also facilitates the free movement of vehicles and keeps construction timescales on track.
O2D reduces the rate of stoppages on site, the build-up of vehicles around it and the number of repeat journeys and delays by stopping the vehicles before they get to site. It then diverts them to designated holding bays, allowing them to be called only once the site is ready. This prevents construction traffic from circling the city. You could say it’s ‘air traffic control’ for freight!
The software supports both local and national government policies for construction logistics, clean air, environmental impact initiatives, road safety, cycle safety, and security – as well as Section 106 and Construction Logistics Plans.
