Needs a little improvement
Everyone has the same problem, eventually the app starts freezing and you have to uninstall and reinstall then you can play again. I like this game other than that. Don’t love that you don’t get to choose when your train (penny) is in or out on your turn but other than that it’s a good game. Hopefully it gets fixed, maybe while you’re at it make it where you can have friends and play with them instead of the computer!

Fun game but it crashes regularly.

I really like the layout of this app. Ads are not annoying like so many others. But I’ve had to reinstall it 3 times now because eventually it will just stop responding. That part is off putting.
Fun game
App freezes up at times, and does not catch it if you pass when you have a tile to play. Otherwise, a well developed game. How about substituting a sombrero or Mexican flag for the penny marker?

I was enjoying this game, but since the last couple iOS updates, this has been freezing up randomly. I have to close the game, and when I restart it, it does go back to the same place in the game.

I would love to fix this. But first, I have to see it freeze or crash and I have not been able to do that. I've played this game on numerous devices and simulators, but I can't make it fail. Maybe there is some special set of options and rules or some sequence of events that I'm not trying. If you could provide any additional information on the freeze (what were you doing when it happened, what rules and options are you using, etc.), I would very much appreciate it. --Scott

Truly original
I’ve played several Mexican train games and this is the best one out there with no unwanted ads. The game play is fast and it seems fair even tho you may bots. There is a help page with everything and more about playing the game. I love that I was able to change bots names to my own names I choose. My favorite Train game by far. Way to go developers!

Great game but has a few bugs
This is by far the best Mexican Train game I’ve tried. The graphics rent cheesy or annoying as others were. My only complaint is it locks up every so many turns and it doesn’t allow the play of some domino combos. The game has to be closed and restarted to resume play.
Needs an update
Love this game. This app is really great HOWEVER I am consistently having to close out the app and re-open to make a move. It has happened on numerous occasions in various locations so it’s not my WiFi.

When I close it and reopen it, I don’t lose my place, it continues within the next move (or waits for me if it is my move).
Unfortunately, it’s not just freezing now, it’s also not allowing me to play some dominoes or it will play the domino incorrectly when I double click on it and then freeze and then put the domino back on the bottom line.
It’s very frustrating

The best Mexican Train
This is by far the best Mexican Train app. I appreciate that data is not collected. I agree with some of the other reviews that the game is freezing, which it did not do before. You apparently fixed the issue that the game simply closed on us, unfortunately it resulted in this freezing. At least with the freezing we can close the app and return later to the same place. Overall, thanks! I enjoy playing it

Fun game but freezes or crashes
Works great and fun until it glitches. Usually a restart will get you back to where it froze. I’ve encountered a couple of times where I’ve needed to delete the app and redownload because of some glitch.
Pretty Good
Overall, the game is really good. I would’ve given it 5 stars, but there’s a bug where the game freezes. I have to close the app then reopen it. Please fix that. My other issue is, I feel like the computer is looking at my hand. Seems like they always pull the perfect move at the perfect time.
Great except…
Like others, I love this app and think this is the best version of MTD available. I have the same issue as others as well: after a few weeks of playing the game freezes and the only fix is to remove and reinstall the app. It’s frustrating to lose stats
