Connection only able in Spectator Mode, no functions at all

I use the Orqa FPV.One Pilot V2 Goggles with the latent Software. I was able to find a Orqa Connect Module and was looking forward to using the enhanced options of my goggle.

Unfortunately nothing works. I am able to connect to my goggles Wifi, but the app only shows that I am in Spectator Mode. I don’t get data for goggles battery or temperature in my iPhone App. I can‘t see videos either. I also can‘t use the device option to load firmware. The whole device option is greyed out for me.

So far I am terribly disappointed to have bought this module. Right now with this App it is only a piece of electronic garbage plugged into my goggle.

Don’t working

It doesn’t work at all. I spent money on the Orqa FPV Connect module, and I was really excited about it, but I’ve tried everything, and it only shows me the battery and temperature. It’s chaotic—it doesn’t save videos, no streaming—it’s a total mess on iOS. I did some tests on Android, and it works much better, but I’m an iOS and Orqa user, so I really hope they haven’t abandoned this app.

STREAMING NOW WORKS!!!

I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max and LTE but until today live streaming on Facebook did not work for me. BUT NOW, TODAY, with the new version LIVE STREAMING on Facebook works, thanks. There is a bit of room for improvment but the most important Feature of the FPV.Connect module works now As promised, and im Happy 5 stars! But its how i said, there is still a bit of room for improvment especially on the stream latency!

Response from developer

Thanks a lot! How do you like new features?

It’s Buggy, Slow, and Needs UI Improvement

Glad that Orqa is doing a lot of software development and taking feedback, but this app is far from being usable. You get 3 stars for innovative and the first to make an app for FPV goggles.

1) WiFi connectivity is really slow
2) Media transfer from the goggles to phone is really really slow and sometimes doesn’t transfer. And if it does transfer, you get duplicates. It’s easier just to pull the micro SD card and plug it into your device via an SD card to Lightning reader.
3) The UI really needs work such as placement of information as well as icons for visibility. Don’t use red icons with black and red background such as with the media download section. Go with a white color or something that has better contrast.
4) The firmware update feature doesn’t work to well. When you download the mobile app, the firmware files should be stored within the app so you can update it without Internet connectivity or poor cellular service, which happens if you connected to the goggles.
