After paying to download the app, there are more payments needed. Map is not visitor friendly.

It charges $4.95 to unlock and $9.95 to use navigation function. And it doesn't even work!

No free functionality
There is no free app. The only functionality this app offers is to unlock for $4.99 - pretty sleazy advertising. I wouldn't know if its worth it as I don't spend my money with sleazy sellers who try to game the system.

Terrible purchase
Bugs galore!! Sure, it's a new app, but I purchases it at the spur of the moment thinking it would be helpful for a last minute trip to Osaka, and currently it is totally useless. The subway map is difficult to read on an iPod touch, and when navigating the map, only sections of the map move, rendering the entire thing useless. And the search function? Irrelevant. What irks me the most is that this is $3. I can probably get 3 apps that do street, subway and attraction and it'll be a better value than this one. Stay away.
