About
Otka Health Export is a small, private, on-device utility.
It exports the last N days of your Apple Health data to a single JSON file. You grant Health read access once, choose how many days to export, and tap Export. The app writes a file named with the export date (for example health-export-2026-05-17.json) to its Documents folder, visible in the Files app, or to any folder you pick.
It makes no network requests of any kind. Your Health data is read on the device and written only to the local file you control. Nothing is uploaded, no account is required, and there is no tracking, analytics, or advertising.
The export is a structured JSON document containing the keys exported_at, days, samples, and workouts, intended for your own analysis. It also registers a Shortcuts action called "Export Health Data" so you can schedule the export from the Shortcuts app, for example as a daily time-based automation.

What's New in Otka Health Export
1.4
June 8, 2026
- New "Compress export file" option: save your export as a smaller .json.gz (about 90% smaller), readable by gunzip or any archive tool. - Faster, more reliable exports: the export now reuses fetched data instead of re-querying and finishes in about a second. - More complete workout metrics for multisport sessions (brick, triathlon, HIIT) that include running or cycling segments.
