What's New in Otzar

1.3

August 22, 2026

• Russian and French. Every word now carries English, Russian and French — all behind the same single tap, so nothing is given away before you ask. • Words with two meanings. When one spelling is really two different words (לבנות is both "daughters" and "to build"), Otzar works out which one you scanned from the sentence around it — and lets you switch to the other. • Report a problem. Found a wrong definition? There's a link at the bottom of every word. • Sharper reading of look-alike letters — the ב/כ and ו/ר/נ families. • Acronyms like צה"ל and hyphenated words like בין-לאומי now scan as whole words instead of being cut in half. • Moving to a new word no longer keeps the previous word's reading on screen. • If a word is locked on screen, tapping Look up always looks up that word. • Practice buttons now say "I got it wrong…" and "I got it right!" • Bold inside a definition marks only the word you looked up. • Back steps through your lookups one word at a time. • In My Otzar, tap the header or any empty space to dismiss the keyboard. • Niqqud fills in reliably on definitions and examples. • Settings shows the version and build number.
