Disappointing
Needless to say, this app has issues. If I minimize the app, or even switch from landscape to portrait mode while watching a game, the app goes black and I have to restart it. The formatting is worse than the website, especially when you’re trying to find on-demand games.
OUA itself has issues too, thanks to those fantastic paywalls. If it actually were to help fund production and make broadcasts better or whatever your reason to be greedy is, why are some of the broadcasts still terrible? No preview, no refund option, total scam considering one of the games I paid for had NO AUDIO and another one had a massive delay between the audio and the video (ruins the enjoyment when the announcer declares a goal 3 seconds before it happens). Not to mention how many times overlays don’t display things like the in-game time. Plus, you guys took the free 2024-25 interface and put that behind the paywall, and spat out a worse one for those who don’t want to buy passes. That’s pretty scummy, but not surprising.
Thanks for isolating and strangling interest in Ontario University sports. This is why people like watching Canada West sports more. Because it’s free, it’s easy, and the production quality is better.

App compatibility
With the new update, the app will not go into full screen on IPad causing issues with visibility. Not only, do we have to pay for this disgrace but it is completely incompatible with all devices. Do better.
Embarrassing
Unlike the athletes I am trying to watch, this app is bush league. I was a varsity athlete 15 years ago, and it was always a struggle for my friends and family to find reliable webcasting of our matches. I can’t believe it’s 2025 and I still can’t count on a streaming platform to watch university sport. It’s very disappointing and a complete disservice to the talented athletes who deserve our support. Boooooo OUA.TV.
