The Perfect group calendar!

Ourcal has helped organise me and my gfs many events. Surprises included! But also ensure we never miss anything special and we also like reserving days or weekends to ensure we do something new. Also so easy just to put spontaneous sports classes and work events in. Love Ourcal!

Review of OurCal

My family recently purchased OurCal. There are three iPhones and one Samsung in the family that are attached to the calendar. I find that the use of OurCal is better for iPhones than the Samsung. The Samsung has issues with seeing everyone else’s entries, and reminders/alerts for events. I thin these issues are a Samsung issue, not OurCal. I highly recommend this product for iPhone users.

Great Calendar

I was very happy to find an encrypted calendar service like OurCal. My husband and I used an encrypted calendar service bundled with our email provider but when we had an au pair join our family we needed a service we could share with her as well without asking her to set up a new email. OurCal has worked seamlessly and has really helped our family stay on the same page with plans and events for two kids and three adults!

Every once in a while I’ll have a question or something will come up, I’ll send an email to them and they reply so fast and are awesome!! I’ve been using OurCal for years! Love it.

Best shared calendar for functionality and support

The calendar itself is really functional both for android and apple products. The chat function is amazing for sharing info with each other remotely and saving tickets/instructions. It’s used in our family as our only calendar. The best thing about the app is the support from the developers, they are open to ideas for improvements from users and if any glitches do appear, the service to resolve is unlike any other app or service I’ve used elsewhere. I would recommend this app to anyone

Great calendar app for families

We have a big family with lots of teenagers all with lots of after school activities. We desperately needed an app that allowed us all to see in real time what everyone is doing. OurCal is so easy to use and works brilliantly. There have been a few minor issues along the way but the help desk team are super responsive and fixed them immediately. We’ve had the app for 2 years now and I honestly could not run my life without it!

Love the OurCal group calendar!

We are using the OurCal group calendar to track bookings and “no book” dates for our country and classic rock band. It has proven to be a terrific app for helping us do this. The interface is easy to use, provides the features we need, and fits right into our budget. We have submitted requests for support a couple of times as well, and Ryan and his team do a great job resolving those quickly and answering our questions. So glad to have this app!

Alert fix

Had a problem clearing down alerts emailed the team and with 48 hrs emailed back with a fix - perfect.

Love this app so useful to our family hectic schedules

Used other apps for family planning but this one really tops the charts !! Easy to use and view events and liaise with the family for plans

Hate the new calendar layout

Absolutely awful new layout. It’s too easy to swipe to the next month and it’s messy.

Plus there’s always a red notification circle because I refuse to have two separate subscriptions (group and only me).

I’m going back to Google calendar.

New update 👎

The new update is horrible. And with the price increase, well I’m out. App icon shows 19 alerts and there is no way clear it. My GF’s phone shows 36 alerts. We tried everything. Even deleting and reloading app. No tech support anywhere to be found.

Apple/Android scheduling

Got this calendar to assist with juggling schedules. My sister has Android and I have Apple. We’re both able to see and schedule without issues. Easy for both to use. Would recommend.

Best app for family coordinating.

I use this app for my family and also to organize coparenting schedules, it’s wonderful and works well to keep us all on the same page. I love the feature to remind be the day before and the day of an event coming!

Great shared calendar!!

I love this calendar to keep my family
business appointments separate from my work and personal calendar. Our business is on multiple booking platforms so it can be difficult to see what is available or not. I love that ourcal it is shared and that I can add notes to things. It works perfectly to keep appointments all in one place.

Why hide the cost?

I searched for free shareable calendars and this one pops up. I download the app, create a log in then it pops up with a cost. A buck whatever for up to 6 people but it doesn’t tell me if that’s an annual cost, a monthly cost or if each user pays. Why not be transparent? I don’t mind paying for a service but I would like to know the cost upfront before I sign up.
