App was hacked to modify it Canada and it shows. Listings are expired left for RVezy which has better functionality.
Terrible UX
If I could give this app no stars, I would. Where do I start…The photo gallery does not work properly. If you click on a photo in the gallery, it shows the photo below it and you cannot go to the next photo once one is enlarged; you have to go back to the gallery to figure out how to get to the actual photo you want to use. It logs me out every time, which is extremely frustrating when you’re trying to plan a trip with many moving parts in different apps and with other people. When I purchased my rental I selected delivery (gave the address to deliver it to) and selected purchase protection. When it ran my card, delivery and purchase protection were not included. Now the host thinks I am picking it up when in reality, I need them to deliver but they can’t at the date I need so now I need to cancel the whole trip that took me many days to plan. Extremely frustrating! You need a new UX. Look at it through the eyes of your consumer, bc right now their best interest is not in mind.

Enjoy the app overall, really useful search gestures and are so excited for our next RV trip.

Log’s you out EVERYTIME
Why does the app log you out every single time you exit it? SOOOO ANNOYING!!!!!

Very easy to review rv options, layouts and type of vehicle you want to use for a long or short vacation trip. Excellent way for owners and renters to connect and make both parties financially happy.
Good service - Mediocre app
I love the concept to Outdoorsy. I used it to book a rental and it was seamless. But the app (both mobile and online) keeps logging me out. Almost few times a time I have to keep logging back in. Very inconvenient
Broken behavior
Even with the new update, out today, the app requires you to sign in again for Every. Single. Interaction. It’s the same as the website (which tacks on constant 416 errors as a bonus, requiring a page reload with every click).
Want to check your messages? Better sign in again. Want to do a search? K, how about signing in again?
Are they even testing this thing? (If you’re reading this: using Google to sign in. Same error on web and iPhone. You have probably screwed up your server-side session management).

Requires login every time I open the app
It’s really cumbersome to have to login each time I open the app. Otherwise, the functionality works fine.
Absolute Nightmare! Unreliable Host, Corrupted System, and Disastrous Customer Support.
I had the absolute worst experience with this platform and host. My trip was booked and officially status-confirmed three months in advance (back on March 4). Yet, at the very last minute, the host attempted to force a downgraded substitution (a Jayco A-frame) that completely failed to meet my needs or fit the specific campground arrangements I had already locked in.
Despite the app still showing "BOOKING CONFIRMED," the host and the platform completely shirked their contractual responsibilities. To accommodate the original RV size, I had already spent extra money out of pocket to upgrade my campsite (Site #234 at Awenda Provincial Park). Because of their sudden breach of contract, all that preparation and money went down the drain.
What made it even more infuriating was Outdoorsy's customer support. Every single agent I spoke to did nothing but pass the buck, talk in circles, and offer zero actual solutions. Instead of step-in to source a comparable replacement from another host as a responsible platform should, they unilaterally converted my hard-earned money into "Travel Credit" to trap my funds. I had to waste even more hours on the phone demanding they reverse it back to my credit card.
Because of this total failure, I had to frantically source another RV on a different website at the absolute last minute, costing me an ADDITIONAL $400 out of pocket due to surge pricing.
This platform is highly unreliable, and their customer service is a joke. If you don't want your long-planned vacation ruined and your wallet drained by their incompetence, STAY AWAY!

Doesn’t stay logged in
I love this app and how easy it is to find rentals but the app logs me out every single time it goes into the background or is closed. It’s insanely annoying and breaks notifications.
I’m using the Google single sign on option so maybe there is something wrong with that and their api.

Login issues and bad UI
Having to login every time you pull up the app again is terrible and it’s missing good UI features like being able to select the photo you want to see, zoom in and swipe between pictures. And yes I am on the latest version of the app with a new iPhone that is also up to date.

The app is much too limited in functionality compared to the browser version. For instance I can’t see my actual trip revenue on the app and going through the vehicle handoff process has been a complete nightmare for me so far on my phone. Browser or app.
Beware!
The cancellation policy isn’t very clear & you’ll probably lose half your payment if you cancel after 24 hours of booking. The app is clunky & hard to find stuff. Signing in every time I used the app was beyond tiresome. I won’t use Outdoorsy again
Everything is good until something goes wrong
Everything works as it is supposed to until something goes wrong. We rented a RV and 2 tires blew on the same side. We even got the insurance but still had to get a semi wrecker plus paid out of pocket for two tires snd rims just to get back home. They give you 48 hours to file a claim yet their site when you hit submit says error please try again later. When you call they say they need a screenshot of error and will create a ticket. Now 3 days later no word and still can't file a claim. Horrible service, lack of support and after support even worse.

I have to re-login every time I open the app.
Logout/Picture Problems
This app is extremely hard to use. When viewing pictures on a listing it will show you one you didn’t tap on, and when you look at all the pictures in sequence it is not scrollable.
Biggest issue is that every time I visit the app, it logs me out. Such a pain re-logging in multiple times a day while trying to coordinate a trip.

So much potential!!!
I love how you are connected to so many RV owners but the process for verifying drivers could be better and I have to login every time I get a message notification which is very annoying… but these are minor inconveniences compared to what the app has to offer!
