Best way to remember things I want to do!
I’ve been using outernet for a while now and it’s such a cool app. I would also take screenshots of things I wanted to experience or places to explore, save them or send them to friends and then completely forget. This app helps remind me of those things I’ve logged! I’ve been sharing with my sister and she sends me a lot of places too. It’s a really cool app :)

Really helpful especially in LA
I've been using this app for a few months now, and I have amassed a few dozen shops, hikes, and restaurants that I saw on social media that I want to check out. I find it really useful when I'm out and about in areas that I don't usually visit. I just open up the map and see what's nearby. The interface from social media to saving in outernet is seamless, it's really easy to get into the habit of saving it onto the outernet app rather than just taking a screenshot or bookmarking it, never to be seen again. Would recommend!!

This app is truly amazing. Save anything from any social media and find it on a map. Breaks down the spot, gives a location and reviews! You can even open the location on maps without having to copy and paste!!

great idea, unsatisfying execution so far
Sorry, I really like this app idea and wish I was saying something more positive. This is just the kind of thing that would really help me, to build a clear collection of experiences I want to have in one place, sorted by type, time, location (address and map!). It could be really good and I’m happy to edit my review whenever it is. So far, though, I’ve run into too many issues. I’ve had bad extractions that get times and descriptions wrong, I’ve been unable to report that bad extraction from within the app, saved events have failed to appear in the list, I’ve been unable to edit or delete bad saves, and, lastly, a feature complaint instead of a bug complaint: I don’t believe that any part of editing a save should be locked behind a paid tier. Aside from that, I support the idea and wish the developers success. I wish it worked!

Hi! You actually can report bad extractions, tap the three dots in the top left of a save, then "report bad extract." You can follow the same flow to edit and delete saves. If your events aren't showing up in the app, feel free to message us through the app or reach out at support@outernetexplorer.com, they could be showing up in your "past" section, or categorized as a place instead (which you can edit to change). As for save customization being part of the Explorer's Club, unfortunately each save does have data and processing costs we need to cover. We'd really like to keep the app free, but we do have to offset our costs so the app can continue to run. I like it but…
The idea of the app is amazing and I love it; however, I’ve been on the “waitlist” for over two months now, with no idea how long it’s going to take and no communication. The most the app has done is continuously offer a premium subscription for a service that I cannot even access. Quite disappointing. I do appreciate it’s a new app and tweaks will be naturally added as the app goes on but why are we advertising something only five people can use? Why am I being requested to pay a monthly fee to use special features, “the explorers club” ,when I can’t even get the bulk simple package that automatically comes with the app? The offer includes “4x as many daily imports” “ earn an explorers club profile badge” “be the first to try new features” etc. It’s a real shame as the extra packs do seem interesting and I probably would have gone ahead and purchased it. As well as this I’ve read other reviews saying that the bulk standard pack is extremely limited so you feel inclined to buy the add on’s. I hope these issues can be resolved soon as I am still interested in the app and the purpose but as of right now I have little faith

To your point about the free versus premium version, all core features are free, but each import has real data and processing costs we need to cover, which is why there's a daily limit. We really want to maintain a free version, but we need to strike a balance with what we can offer so the app can continue to run.

This app has been solving an exact niche issue I was having! No longer and I taking a million screenshots of things that look fun and then forgetting about them entirely. You guys are saving my camera roll and keeping me organized enough to actually follow through.

Absolutely amazing! I have used social media to find restaurants, things to do, places to visit for a long time. I have always just put the ideas in the notes app or saved them on the social media app. They would tend to get lost this way. Outernet has completely changed the game. I can add things as I find them. The map makes it super easy to see what’s located close together. Such an amazing concept!

This is a really great app. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and have found it super helpful to be able to save different places that I find on social media. I’m actually going on my honeymoon soon, and it’s been helpful for me to start to map out things in the app so I can better plan our daily itinerary. I really love the multi city capabilities. I would definitely recommend.

Because what do you mean I just push two buttons and the app saves a whole post with ALL the info from the screenshot/video, including the dates, times AND MARKS IT ON THE MAP????? and all that in just two taps… and you can use it for FREE. Not that I’m going to, because I’m definitely getting the plus cuz girl my life is about to change thanks to the app😭❤️🔥

Wonderful App by Generous Creators
This app is my new favorite! Going from multiple "Saved" lists on google and seeing all of the points pop up not knowing what is what was tedious, but outernet puts helpful icons on the saves so I know if I'm looking for food, a place to paddle, hiking and camping spots, etc. On top of that, the creators are sooooo wonderful in explaining things, working on improvements, and are clearly invested in making this app as helpful and valuable as possible. It was an easy decision to subscribe to premium, the 20 limit feels like just enough to pace myself and not get overwhelmed. My only ask is to get it over to android so I can get my boyfriend on board! I know they're working on it too, because they responded to my text asking! Seriously love the gals behind this app. I don't know ya, but I love ya!

NEEDED this!
This is quickly becoming my favorite app. It’s a little difficult to offload my huge Instagram and TikTok collections of travel destinations with the daily limit, but I’m obsessed with having all of my saves on an easy to use map. Please make it accessible for Android too so my friends can use it!!

Super cool idea that I feel like we've all had but haven't executed!! I wish the subscription price was more reasonable because I would 100% hands down sign up!! And that's coming from someone who hates subscriptions lol

I can’t tell you how many things I screenshot and then literally never look at again!! This app is amazing. I already set up my first outing. It was super easy and I love being able to set multiple reminders. I also love that all the info auto populates for me!

I could have never imagined an app that would give you all the details to your dream trip! This is the most creative and useful app I have found ever! The free version only allows 5-10 uploads per day, I don’t pay for the app, so I’m unsure of what that has.
