App not as helpful as it used to be
I really liked this app when I first got it, but now I find that the latest featured outfits are bland and don’t appeal to me at all. ( Today’s outfit is top to bottom plain beige- boring! To me l,anyway).
Also, you used to be able to see what the outfit was supposed to look like when it was styled the way the app designers had in mind. Now, the app only shows you pictures of the pieces of the outfit. To see how it is supposed to look on, you look at pictures of “ how others styled it.” ( Meaning other app users). Sorry, but many of the app users have less of a sense of style than I do and they put together the outfits in a way that is not inspiring.. Some of them choose different pieces altogether that don’t have anything to do with the featured outfit. I like to look at how a model with a sense of style puts together the outfit. ( Do they tuck in the blouse or not? What type of “bottoms” do they choose? Do they button the cardigan or not, and if so, how? )Then I can choose how closely I want to copy their style ( or not).
Kind of like when you purchase a cookbook with pictures of how the finished dish is supposed to look, you want to see a picture of an appealing, well -plated dish- not a dish that looks burnt or undercooked or like a plate of spaghetti when it’s supposed to be an omelette.
Anyway I love the concept of this app, and the quality used to be better. Hopefully it will improve soon, but in the meantime I will be looking elsewhere for an outfits app with more fashion guidance and more outfits that inspire me.

Scam
This app allows a 7 day “free trial” and then proceeded to charge me $29 for 2 days use. I tried it for 2 days and didn’t find it useful as it didn’t give me suggestions based on my wardrobe or lifestyle so I canceled but it’s still trying to charge me for a months use. Seems very scammy to me and I’ve alerted Apple and will report to my credit card company if Apples not able to fix it. Contacted the company and they were of no use AGAIN.

Great concept and very good execution so far!
This app is ideal for those of us with a closet full of good intentions. You buy what you like, what fits, what looks good and what’s comfortable. Then you have no idea how to style any of it. You spend mornings staring at racks with that deer in headlights expression, am I right??!!

In the 8 months I’ve been using the app I have worn so many pieces I hadn’t worn in years. I think with most apps, and this one is no different, there’s always some room for improvement. Nonetheless, for me, this is a game changer. I now have a closet filled with outfits that bring me joy instead of stress. And I’ve enjoyed seeing a community of women who have completely changed their attitude about dressing. It’s actually fun! You should try it!

Got my mojo back
I was feeling frumpy and old. I have gained weight and I am just uncomfortable and I needed to feel better fast. Of helped. Of course I am able to put outfits together on my own, but this app shows me how to actually wear the clothes I own in different ways. I love using the app to create the outfit of the day. It’s really fun to see my own pieces styled. Of helps me to love my wardrobe and keeps me from overbuying.

Love this App
I absolutely love Outfit Formula! It has become part of my everyday routine, and I use it every morning when I get dressed. One of my favorite features is getting a text the night before reminding me to plan my outfit—it makes my mornings so much quicker and easier!
I also love that Outfit Formula doesn’t just help with clothes; it helps me put together the whole look, including accessories. I feel much more put together without having to spend a lot of time figuring out what to wear.
An unexpected bonus is that it has actually helped me shop less and shop smarter. Instead of buying random pieces or outfits just because I like them, I’m much more intentional about buying clothes that work with what I already own and can be mixed and matched.

Fantastic, engaging and so user friendly!
The Outfit Formulas App and whole styling experience has been outstanding. The daily visual outfit formulas with details to shop my closet or links to shop for all different budgets, sizes and colors, definitely changed my way of getting dressed and feeling great in my clothes! I could not assemble outfits nor did I have time to figure it out. Now I get a a month of outfits at a time, and reminders the day before (if opt for) comes with the prescription of outfit of the day and links to the app, so I can think ahead! I love the private Community feature, it allows me to share or just see the way others have styled their outfits for the day! I really like how it provides the weather for my location and lots of options to accommodate the temperatures! Using OF has given me confidence to dress in current fashion and feel great about how I look on any budget! And it has opened doors to see how others do too! Such an amazing community of women who face the same challenges and feel great as a result! So many functions with the app, like AI to allow me to see myself in an outfit before I try to assemble, and it can alter easy. And outfit selfies can be stored for later reference! Some many bells and whistles really make getting dressed so fun!

I love the way this app is set up. Easy to use. The formulas can be tailored to where you are. The lists help you build a wardrobe you actually want to wear. Getting out is so much better when I feel more “put together”

I’m an OG OF user. I tell everyone about Outfit Formulas, especially AFTER they compliment my Outfit of the Day. I plan ahead, substitute what I already own and always leave the house feeling stylish. Even on work at home days, I am styling my OOD look.

I love this app. I signed up for the yearly subscription which means I have a predetermined outfit for a whole year! It’s great to wake up and know exactly what you’re going to wear and that you will feel good wearing it too!
I’ve always struggled to put outfits together so it’s refreshing to have it done for you and all you need to do is add your own clothes and style.
It’s also helped me know what to choose when I shop too, so I don’t end up with random items that don’t really make sense together.

I’ve never been great at figuring out how to put outfits together and my mind goes numb when I look in the closet and try to figure out what to wear.
This app has become my favorite! I used the closet staples list in the app to figure out what my current wardrobe already contained of the staples and where my gaps were. I got rid of most of what I have and never wear using Ali (AI helper) to help me decide what to keep or to donate.
Now, every morning the app gives me an outfit for the day using mostly my closet staples with a few seasonal pieces mixed in. I leave the house feeling more confident and with an extra pep in my step. I love this app!

Love “See it on me”
Seeing how I would look in each outfit through the “See it styled on me” feature located in “Tools” on the app has been a real game changer! It was exciting to see that I actually CAN wear stylish outfits I had ruled out because I thought were too young looking for me or not my style. I love being able to know exactly where to get the pieces to create my favorite outfit selections each month. And I love the feeling of not dreading upcoming events because of having nothing to wear. I feel pretty much prepared for any occasion now. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the app has been late making the “See it styled on me”feature available three different months in 2026. I like to see how I would look an outfit before deciding which items to purchase and sometimes by the time the “See it styled on me” feature gets up and running, the shopping list has already been out for three weeks and many of the exact items are sold out. It would be really nice for that feature to be activated on the 15th of the month when the new outfits are released.

This app changed my life
I was skeptical at first but after 3 months I am obsessed. One less decision to make. Each day a formula and example is give. For what to wear that day. You can customize it by using the colors that work best for your skin tone or favorite patterns. The app even tells you what to have on hand in your closet or what to buy. They even will provide links to buy the different pieces. No real decision making required and you have clothes that you will wear.

My Addiction
I have been using this for over a year and am now a lifelong member. I use this every day, my confidence soars because of the DAILY compliments I get from each piece, and each outfit works great for being 42 in education. I highly recommend this app and service to EVERYONE!

I always bought the same, I felt not confident to try new. This App uses AI to show you what the outfit looks on you, which encourages you to try new ways to dress!! Shocked that I finally like my closet
Outfit Formulas is a must have app for any woman who feels like she has a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. The formulas are so easy to use and have genuinely helped me look and feel better every day. Love it!

This is the worst app
First of all they trick you into signing up and won’t let you out for a year. So fine, they had my $100, let’s see if I use the app at all. 6 months later and it is totally useless giving shorts and sandals ideas for all days. Packing list is worthless too. What money I’ve ever spent.
Too Many Updates!
Literally every 3-4 days when I go to open the app it requires an update. It’s a bit excessive. I like the app for outfit suggestions but the AI functionality isn’t great, if you let it remember items you’ve styled before it will then keep suggesting those items (“you could swap your white tank top for your cashmere sweater, wanna try that”…uh no because it’s summer and 90 outside…). I don’t think I’ll renew after the year is up.

Inaccessible!
I wanted to like this app, I really did. But it is inaccessible for users with low vision. The app does not correctly support iOS Dynamic Type and larger accessibility text sizes. When my system text size is increased, text is truncated, controls are pushed off-screen, and some functions become inaccessible because the interface does not scroll properly. This creates a significant accessibility and usability problem. I can’t believe this is happening in 2026 in an app I’m PAYING for!!!
