Fantastic, engaging and so user friendly!
The Outfit Formulas App and whole styling experience has been outstanding. The daily visual outfit formulas with details to shop my closet or links to shop for all different budgets, sizes and colors, definitely changed my way of getting dressed and feeling great in my clothes! I could not assemble outfits nor did I have time to figure it out. Now I get a a month of outfits at a time, and reminders the day before (if opt for) comes with the prescription of outfit of the day and links to the app, so I can think ahead! I love the private Community feature, it allows me to share or just see the way others have styled their outfits for the day! I really like how it provides the weather for my location and lots of options to accommodate the temperatures! Using OF has given me confidence to dress in current fashion and feel great about how I look on any budget! And it has opened doors to see how others do too! Such an amazing community of women who face the same challenges and feel great as a result! So many functions with the app, like AI to allow me to see myself in an outfit before I try to assemble, and it can alter easy. And outfit selfies can be stored for later reference! Some many bells and whistles really make getting dressed so fun!

Made my life easier and more fun!
I love this app. I signed up for the yearly subscription which means I have a predetermined outfit for a whole year! It’s great to wake up and know exactly what you’re going to wear and that you will feel good wearing it too!
I’ve always struggled to put outfits together so it’s refreshing to have it done for you and all you need to do is add your own clothes and style.
It’s also helped me know what to choose when I shop too, so I don’t end up with random items that don’t really make sense together.
And a really great community too 😊Highly recommend!

Love “See it on me”
Seeing how I would look in each outfit through the “See it styled on me” feature located in “Tools” on the app has been a real game changer! It was exciting to see that I actually CAN wear stylish outfits I had ruled out because I thought were too young looking for me or not my style. I love being able to know exactly where to get the pieces to create my favorite outfit selections each month. And I love the feeling of not dreading upcoming events because of having nothing to wear. I feel pretty much prepared for any occasion now. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the app has been late making the “See it styled on me”feature available three different months in 2026. I like to see how I would look an outfit before deciding which items to purchase and sometimes by the time the “See it styled on me” feature gets up and running, the shopping list has already been out for three weeks and many of the exact items are sold out. It would be really nice for that feature to be activated on the 15th of the month when the new outfits are released.

Shocked that I finally like my closet
Outfit Formulas is a must have app for any woman who feels like she has a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. The formulas are so easy to use and have genuinely helped me look and feel better every day. Love it!

This is the worst app
First of all they trick you into signing up and won’t let you out for a year. So fine, they had my $100, let’s see if I use the app at all. 6 months later and it is totally useless giving shorts and sandals ideas for all days. Packing list is worthless too. What money I’ve ever spent.
Too Many Updates!
Literally every 3-4 days when I go to open the app it requires an update. It’s a bit excessive. I like the app for outfit suggestions but the AI functionality isn’t great, if you let it remember items you’ve styled before it will then keep suggesting those items (“you could swap your white tank top for your cashmere sweater, wanna try that”…uh no because it’s summer and 90 outside…). I don’t think I’ll renew after the year is up.

Inaccessible!
I wanted to like this app, I really did. But it is inaccessible for users with low vision. The app does not correctly support iOS Dynamic Type and larger accessibility text sizes. When my system text size is increased, text is truncated, controls are pushed off-screen, and some functions become inaccessible because the interface does not scroll properly. This creates a significant accessibility and usability problem. I can’t believe this is happening in 2026 in an app I’m PAYING for!!!

Something changed
I’ve been a subscriber to GYPO for years, long before the app. I always loved the formulas and looked forward to each season and actually enjoyed getting dressed every day. But since this app came out and all the changes have been made, I find the outfits boring, sometimes downright unappealing. I’m finding myself using it less and less. I don’t think I’ll subscribe much longer.

Will continue to charge your CC after cancelling
Do not recommend; this company will continue to charge your credit card annually after you have cancelled your account. Every year, I have to contact my CC company and dispute the charges.
Community
I am not on social media or into posting content, so I’m honestly surprised how much I’m enjoying the community feature. It’s fun to share and see others’ OOTD. It’s become a positive little part of my day. Plus I love how the formulas have helped me to use items I already have in my wardrobe and to shop smarter when I purchase new items.

Frustrating IRL
I love the concept of this app SO MUCH. The ongoing frustration I have is that I constantly fall in love with an outfit suggestion (the very specific one that’s being suggested) and 9/10x it is sold out.
I know there is the *shop more options* feature but that doesn’t help me much when I’m in love with the first version of the outfit being suggested in the app.
It is currently June 6th. I need to see the July calendar NOW so I can buy all the seasonal items in stores BEFORE they sell out, peak season.
If you don’t want to show the calendar, fine. At least make the list of upcoming pieces available so we have a shot at buying them.
This concept is a beautiful one in theory but EXTREMELY frustrating in real life as it’s not solving my problem… it’s just creating a new one.
If this improves within the app I’ll be happy to come back and update my review to 5 stars.

It appears to me, as an observer, a lot of users take the daily suggestions as a copy & paste formula not understanding it doesn’t look good on their body type. With a few tweaks to their choices they could actually look amazing. That being said, you can see in the same pictures, many of the ladies have been given a confidence boost from using this app as a guide.

Love having a capsule wardrobe but tons of outfits!
I love this app because each month I’m given a shopping list of 30 pieces, most of which are already in my closet, and then I’m given a 30 day visual guide for putting these pieces together, using everything on the shopping list but never repeating an outfit. There are dress it up options for work and weather adaptations. It’s so helpful.

Another update fail for me
Apparently the new app update is supposed to have a community feature. Mine does not. Good news is that it didn’t freeze the calendar and make the app unusable this time. Absolutely not worth the money.
Repetitive
The outfits get very boring very quickly. It seems everyone gets the same outfit. It doesn’t matter what your style, colors, size or weather is. Seeing how others make a complete disaster of the outfits is not helpful. By the time you try to buy something on the ootd it is generally sold out and they don’t offer alternatives. I don’t think it’s worth the money for an extended subscription. Buy it for a month if you are curious but after that it just repeats. They also give me outfits that I would never wear. Short shorts, sleeveless tops, wrong colors for my palette, dresses that are all wrong for me. It’s cookie cutter styling.

I started the free trial and immediately knew I didn’t want this app. I cancelled it immediately but it looks like they still charged me $50!! Do not do a free trial!!!!

For those of us who live in colder climates, it would be helpful if the app would make adjustments to shifts in weather patterns. For example, when snow comes to Colorado in mid May,

You know how Steve Jobs used to wear the exact same outfit every day because he wanted to devote as much brain power as possible to his job or whatever? This app allows you to reserve that little amount of cognitive reserve so you can devote it to other priorities. I’m an attorney and mom of 3 little kids and I have MS. My brain is tired. I hated how frumpy I looked all the time just bc I didn’t have the energy to think about what I owned and how to put it together. I finally feel cute again! And with all of the clothes I already owned! Once in a while I’ll buy one of the suggested articles of clothing, but that’s the best part: I buy with purpose now because I know what the real gaps are in my wardrobe. I’m forgetful (if I can’t see it, it doesn’t exist) so being able to be reminded of what I own because I upload a pic of the clothes I wore for an outfit each day and the app is slowly storing a picture of the clothes in my closet is crazy helpful. I know it sounds cheesy, but this was advertised to me on Instagram, I’ve been using it for 6 weeks, and it’s taken away the most stressful part of my mornings and made it so I feel cute and put together every day! Added bonus: I got my “colors” done about 5 years ago and she keeps those in mind, too, which is perfect for how I already think of my clothes. Cannot recommend enough!

AI Slop
What used to be a helpful app has gotten bogged down by AI features that don’t work. I like the concept of adding my own items, but what’s the point if the AI won’t use them to generate the outfits? It’s just infinite incorrect generations. The AI is ruining the app
