Great function but Data is Inaccurate

I played 90 minutes but it seems not all of it was recorded. Only 4.25km covered in that time frame when I usually do that in one half. It's great as it syncs to Strava but the metrics are different there too. Certain runs of mine also weren't recorded which is frustrating. Apart from the inaccuracy everything else is good but I don't know how much I can continue with it.

Needs lot of improvements

App is ok, but to get precise info, player needs to manage it during play time.
So, to be usable the app needs:
1. Be able to edit data after the game: like divide 1st and 2nd half, time I am out of the field for sub, need to be able to identify game beginning and end time, because if I forget to stop after the game it will capture my ride home and this will me that I am as fast as my car.
Need to add VO2

Great app

Accurately tracks your stats, provides accurate heat map, can link with Strava and health. Easy to use, awesome app

Perfect app for tracking soccer

Just what the title says. It’s the best app for soccer.

Valuable Motivational Metrics

Have been using for a while now for weekly indoor 7-a-side football. I really enjoy seeing extra metrics to motivate me and be able to compare them versus previous games. Well worth it!

pretty good

managed to get it working in the end, it has very useful information but i do question its reliability for the simple reason as its all tracked through gps for things like sprints, acceleration and top speed which is notoriously sub par for recording these things. the data seems accurate but i question how. if you could add how the data is recorded onto the app, also maybe add some “averages” for each sub catergory. this could be used to compare yourself to pros/semi pros/amateur footballers in your postition.

Good but…

Would be great if the team could add a feature that allowed you to keep track of the score as your playing.

Never syncs back

Never syncs to the app. Always shows up in fitness not the app.

Failed to record GPS

Paid for the subscription to get gps heat maps and all the other goodies. First time worked great. Second game it failed to record anything other than calories.

Don’t leave but reviews normally but this app is truly great

Very convenient and accessible. Allows me to easily control and track my soccer workouts . I dont have a watch so I play with my phone in my pocket and it truly does everything it promises . the inly thing i wish i could see is my calories burned

Brilliant (with a small caveat)

This app does everything I was hoping for that the standard Apple workout app doesn’t give you. It’s let me have a better sense of how I’m playing and how to improve. Occasionally the game won’t upload from my watch to the app (even though the activity is still logged in Fitness) and nothing I do - even following the advice on the help page - will sync it. I can’t seem to figure out what conditions cause this to happen and it has only happened a couple of times but if that could be fixed, this is a full five stars for me.

didn’t work

didn’t work for me, used the app and at the end it said no data available

Great tracking for social football

I’ve been on this app for a year and I’ve enjoyed the regular updates and improvements. The app is getting better and better. I was looking for a more accurate and football specific tracking app.
I track with my apple watch and it syncs with Strava. I like that you can see a heat map and you can add the score post match and stats. It’s fun looking at results over a few months. Tracking seems pretty accurate, any limitations are probably related to the fact my watch is a few years old. Sometimes you get the odd sprint that’s just way off, but mostly it’s accurate. It worth paying for the premium as it isn’t that expensive. Great work! Keep the updates coming

Response from developer

Thank you for the review and the kind words, I'm really happy to hear you're enjoying the app.

Not clear on how to use with Apple Watch

Waste of time

Great

Overall the app is great, good data and it’s only getting better

Great, but could use one feature.

It seems to work great, but i wish it had an Apple fitness/Apple health integration so I don’t have to start a workout also.

Response from developer

Hi! Really happy to hear you’re enjoying the app. Outplay actually does integrate with Apple Health already. You can record a match only in Outplay and it will appear in the Apple Fitness and Health apps. Give it a try with your next match. Regards, Alex

Good app.

Free plan tracks enough info I get to see my distance covered and how fast(slow) I run. It also syncs as a football workout automatically. Very good.

Can’t install on Apple Watch

I love the idea of this - definitely a gap in the market - but I can’t install on the Apple Watch as it’s not appearing in available apps to install. Is there a minimum version of the watch?

Great information

Used for 1 season in return to Sunday league love been able to see how my sprinting etc has improved throughout the season. Also how my positioning has improved resulting in having to sprint less. Can’t wait for the new season

Useless…

Tracked less than the Apple workout app. Didn’t have distance, heat map, speed etc. didn’t even pull through the weather!? How hard is it to make an app that does what you say it does. Not work 20p a year let alone £20. Avoid.
