Outpost Go can recommend fuel stops, compare options along your drive, and help identify where stopping could save you money. EV drivers can also plan around charging stops, fast chargers, and desired arrival energy. Car Lodging Planning to sleep in your vehicle? Add a Car Lodging stop by choosing the location yourself or letting Scout help find a suitable place along your route. Car Lodging becomes part of your itinerary just like a hotel, so overnight stops stay connected to the rest of your trip. Go Anywhere Not sure where to go? Explore destinations based on how much time you have or how far you want to drive, discover day-trip ideas, find halfway stops, and quickly turn an idea into your next adventure. Scout has been redesigned Scout is easier and faster to use, with a refreshed experience built to help with destinations, stops, routes, and trip decisions. Smarter itineraries When you add a place, Outpost Go can help determine where it fits best in your drive based on route and detour time. You can also organize days around a purpose, such as a Driving Day, Explore Day, Beach Day, National Park Day, or Travel Home. Better Road Trip Mode See your next stop, ETA, remaining drive, trip progress, and quickly find useful places along your route while you’re on the road. Route-aware weather Weather is becoming part of the journey, not just the destination. Outpost Go can surface conditions along your route and provide more useful weather information around when you’re expected to arrive. Automatic Drive Tracking Optionally track the miles you actually drive and build your Outpost Go travel history, including lifetime miles, completed road trips, states explored, and milestones. Drive tracking is designed to work without continuously storing your precise location history in the cloud. Better shared trips Save possible stops before adding them to the itinerary, collaborate on ideas, and vote on restaurants, activities, and other places before deciding what makes the final trip. A more polished Outpost Go This update also includes a cleaner light mode, improved drawers and animations, faster interactions, better map behavior, improved charger and gas-station cards, smoother trip planning, updated weather states, and fixes throughout the app. And, as always, there are plenty of performance improvements and bug fixes behind the scenes to make Outpost Go faster, smoother, and more reliable on your next drive.
