Just fine
Desperately needed for iPhone
So far I’ve been accused of negligence and threatened with termination multiple times for not answering timely emails. Using OWA on a browser does not send notification of incoming emails and pending totals requiring keeping the app open and checking the app constantly all day and night so as not to miss an incoming email.
I’ve been told I cannot use “safe” mail apps for enterprise email based in India and Russia (I will not mention the app names).
Don’t see why this option is no longer available for the iPhone. I literally may have stop getting personal email on my phone, buy a second phone just for work or quit my job. Having this app on the iPhone again would solve this issue for me and the hundreds of complaints I’ve seen on the internet about not being able to use two separate copies of Outlook on phones!
I need this app for work, but its unusable as is.
Edit: I added a star. My initial issue seems to have been fixed. Opening attachments no longer crashes the app. However, I still have an issue uploading my own attachments. The only options I have are to upload a new picture, pictures from library, or a signature. I need to be able to attach files from the Files app in order to use this properly.
OWA is not loading my Exchange account
Having said that, I do not like using the iOS Mail app on my iPad, I prefer to use OWA. Clearly, if I can access my Exchange account through iOS Mail nothing is wrong with it and something is wrong with OWA. Please fix the app and make it recognize my credentials.
App frozen after ios update
Can’t get to passcode entry
Endless update
Shared calendars not working in OWA for iPad
Unsatisfied
Directory is not available off line to add names. How do you get address book to work off line?
Freezes
Bottom function screen/blue screen. Sometimes it fills 1/2the window. How do you get it to go back?
Messages with attachments that are downloaded while online do not show off line.
MUCH better than Outlook for iOS!! Still MS Best Product
OWA is the only calendar product that has full calendar functioning for Exchange networks (like the Windows version) so users can actually see the calendars of colleagues and schedule appointments. This is the best calendar app for iOS and Mac platforms. If you need to schedule appointments and do not use Windows, this the best app to get by far.
Right now, Outlook for iOS is very buggy after iOS 10 update and totally useless as calendars cannot be shared by Exchange network (like OWA). Outlook is regressing (and no response from MS tech "support"- not really support at all). Stick with OWA- BY FAR, the best way to use Outlook on an iOS device or a Mac. Even better than when we must use Windows.
Not a huge fan of most Microsoft products (they usually seem 75% developed when released, full of bugs and absolutely no tech support available), but MS did a great job with OWA. Our business depends on it and OWA delivers.
Rough Interface
Tons of bugs
Functional but frustrating
Should be easier to use, and have better button/menu placement. Made to be minimalist with little icons, but not my favorite.
OK, but not great
Also, I wish that it had tasks integrated. It is irritating to have to manage tasks elsewhere.
Needs update.
Very disappointing
Nice except chokes on opening some URLs
It continues to choke on complex URL's that have redirection, e.g. Nuzzle.
It also handles the whole permission to display in line URLs badly. Many times when checking to always allow displaying the URLs it invokes the web browser to go off to a site and even in these cases it does not remember that the link has already been clicked previously even though that is what it promises.
