I lost my everything saved in vovan trainer 1
this map released the second version and deleted all informations and words saved in vocab trainer 1 and there's no way offered to help move them to vocab trainer 2, which is insane. the team creating this app at the very beginning didn't even take "taking users' info and efforts" seriously

Frustrating garbage
I hate this app. First, English is not available as an interface language. That means my ESL students whose native language is not in the set of provided interface languages (for example, Farsi) can’t use the OVT app at all and I as a basically monolingual ESL teacher can’t demonstrate the app to my students. It is ridiculous not to provide English as an interface option in an English learning tool.
Second, this app is useless for adding additional words (not in the built-in course) unless you Jane an English dictionary in which to find them. But an English dictionary is not loaded by default. When I try to add one by clicking on “add languages” in dictionary mode (using the French interface because there’s no English interface), it just prompts: Enregistrer (Register). Then when I click the Register link, nothing happens.
I have wasted many hours trying to solve this problem. I’ve emailed support and gotten a long-winded boilerplate reply showing elaborate steps that that don’t work because I CANT GET THE ENGLISH DICTIONARY TO LOAD.

Achtung! App Zugang ist schwierig!
Nicht mit jedem neuen Oxford English Teaching book Access Code ist der Zugang möglich. Mann sollte es vorher beim Verlag erfragen. Auch wenn die App auf dem Cover beworben wird, heißt es nicht, dass man so einfach Zugang bekommt.
Sign In Problems
You may download it but can’t create an account. Because clever software developers forgot to ad “Sign In” option. Software wants you to register, but not allow you to create account. I feel like a dog that chasing its own tail. Please revise this stu.id fault.

It is useless
Why on earth did you remove “Vocab Trainer” from the App Store?!!! and replaced with “Vocab Trainer 2”. It is useless. Just keep it as it is. ———————————————

I would like to add some notice to the new app (Vocab Trainer 2). As long as I still prefer the previous app “Vocab Trainer” in terms of design + UI + easy to use etc. Why the developer behind the app (Vocab Trainer 2) would not allow users to choose the “English” language in-app setting > profile App. So, even if English are not my first language or I am not a native speaker, the option should be there. maybe the developer only thinks about new users who are still at (Beginner Level) and prefer their first language to use. But, please also consider users who prefer to use the English language as a primary language in the app settings and leave them to decide which is better for them. I hope future updates will add the English language UI option to app settings.

Mein Abonnement des alten Vocab Trainers lief einfach weiter ohne das ich Zugriff auf meine Vokabeln hatte. Des Weiteren besitzte ich jetzt nicht einmal mehr Zugriff auf die neue App, da ich kein Code besitze. Eine Frechheit

Die App ist grundsätzlich nicht schlecht, könnte man sie nicht auf den neuesten Stand bringen? Das wäre ein Vorteil, da mit der neuen Edition bereits gearbeitet wird in den Kursen.

Can’t use the app properly because once I press the “choose a course” button, the text “choose a language to learn” appears, but without any language options. I therefore can’t select a course and discover new words.

Oxford Vocabulary Trainer 2
I am finding the above App very beneficial and easy to use. I would give it a 5 however, the text used in the sentences when explaining the meaning of a word is tiny and hard to read. Is it possible to to give the user an option to enlarge this text? Otherwise, the text size throughout the other sections of the App by contrast is very large. I am happy with that!
There is a dictionary feature within the App that enables you to add additional words you wish to study. It says that it is free to try for a period then you have to subscribe. I can’t get it to work to try it out nor can I find out how much it would cost if I wanted to add this feature.

Total Failure
I used the Vocab trainer 1. I had my personal dictionary filled with hundreds of words. It served perfectly my needs. Then I was forced to upgrade to Vocab trainer 2. Now in this new version I cant find a way to import my personal dictionary from the previous version. Years of work just relinquished. Two inquires to the developer remain unanswered for weeks now. Extremely disappointing.
