User reviews

This is the oxygen monitoring app I have been waiting years for.

My mother uses supplemental oxygen while she sleeps. There have been far too many nights where I’d go check on her and find that her nasal cannula had come off. It led to countless sleepless nights because I was constantly worried about missing something.

Years ago, I bought the Wellue O2Ring and OxyLink remote monitor. It would alert me if her oxygen dropped or her heart rate became abnormal, and it completely changed our lives. Unfortunately, an update eventually disabled the remote monitoring feature, and I was back to worrying every night.

After years of searching for a replacement, I found OxyRemote. It connected to our original O2Ring immediately, and for the first time in a long time, we had remote monitoring again.

The only problem was that my mom had lost weight, and the original ring no longer fit well. We bought the newer O2Ring S, only to discover that it wasn’t yet supported by the app. I contacted the developer, expecting to either wait months or be told to return it.

Instead, I experienced the best customer service I have ever received from any company, regardless of the product.

He worked what honestly seemed like around the clock to add support for the new ring. Within what felt like a week, he had already released multiple app updates, keeping me informed the entire time. Most companies would have simply said, “Sorry, buy the older model instead.” He chose to solve the problem instead.

During our conversations, I learned that he had gone through something similar while caring for one of his own loved ones. Rather than accepting that this kind of monitoring didn’t exist, he built something that now helps countless other families. That’s a rare kind of person.

This app gives me something I haven’t had in a very long time: the ability to sleep without constantly wondering if my mom is okay. It has genuinely changed our lives.

What amazes me is that every doctor I’ve mentioned it to had never even heard of anything like this. Remote overnight oxygen monitoring should be recommended to every family caring for someone with breathing issues.

I cannot recommend this app highly enough.

Thank you for the kind words — genuinely, it means a lot. Getting the O2Ring S working with you was worth every late night, and I'm glad everything is running now and you have your peace of mind back.
