Effective in simplicity

Very straightforward interface which is what I always love about journaling is maintaining simplicity while also offering key insights & note taking. A visual performance chart would really give a clearer aesthetic for my trading performance. All around, it’s the perfect app for those who like to check in and out and not making things too complex. Love it

Too Many Ads, Not Enough Value

The developers seem to have two options in mind: either put up with a mobile app flooded with ads and pop-ups or pay to remove them. The fact that there’s a free web version makes it feel like the mobile app was sacrificed for monetization rather than usability.

The experience is so frustrating that I’m not convinced paying would fix the underlying issues. If the goal is to earn subscriptions, the better approach would be to build a quality product people want to support, not make the free version so unpleasant that users feel pressured to upgrade.

Hi, thank you for the review! Regarding separators, we had them in the early versions, but different regions use different formats (and sometimes in different ways). So we removed commas for the time being as some users were complaining that it was confusing to them. That’s why we have standardized format for everyone. We need to do deeper research and add a setting per region, so users can choose the separator format they prefer. Same goes for 1K proposal. We can’t just let user choose (in the current form) because we need to make a proper math behind calculating these numbers with different separators and adding K instead of thousand. It can be done, we just need a bit more time. We’re currently working on broker integration for automatic sync. Once that’s done, we’ll revisit separators, along with a few other items on our roadmap. Have a great day! PnL Ledger Team

What an app!! I have never seen such a clean, well organized, so simple and well structured P&L app for trading! This app is a bomb! The customer service is also top notch! Very helpful! Please never close this app. Its life changing.

Exactly what I wanted

I tried many trading journals on the AppStore and you always need to pay to get a good experience. But this one is perfect. There are ads ,but honestly if it keeps the app free and helps the creator it’s totally fine (there are very few anyway).

Great app!

Fantastic app. I just wish I can be in control as to which day starts my week. I’d like for Sunday to start my week instead of Monday. On the app Sunday ends the week. Other than that, incredible app!

Proper calendar

Please fix the calendar. The calendar is not a proper calendar. Your missing weekends, some people trade the weekends. My self my trading start on Sunday evening so please fix the the calendar

Hi, we agree, that’s a valid point. We’ve just reduced the number of ads by 60% (there are no ads on your first entry). Would you be willing to try the app again? If you’d like to remove the remaining ads entirely and support our development, you can upgrade to PnL Ledger Premium. PnL Ledger Team
