The app crashes while opening in my iPhone xR running iOS 18

Does the job it's meant to perfectly, with no extra fluff.
Paid the $10 and Now The App doesn’t work.
Paid the fee to be able to use it as a widget on my Home Screen. Conveniently, as soon as I do so, I can’t input any tasks without the white ring or blue arrow freezing my screen.
Frustrating and seemingly such a simple function. Arguably the CORE function is adding tasks to a list and now I can’t even do so.
Deleted and redownloaded, restarted phone, cleared data, and still NOTHING.
