Great start. Great pace to help me reach my goals.

Great no-nonsense app

Does exactly what is says. No frills but it’s great, simple, and easy to use

Just do it

Last time following this program got me a PB 5x in a row. That was 2 years ago, now excited to get back in to it.

PBS on Parkruns

This App has made me hit my PB on parkruns though-out Yorkshire…. Brill….

Not great, keep looking

I used this to train for a recent 5k- the training runs were impossible for me from the get go and I never completed one without stopping and walking. As I train for a 10k, I hope to find an app that is do-able AND pushes me to work harder. When you can’t tell if you actually ran for 35 minutes (the first week suggests that’s possible), it’s impossible to know, when doing that same run 4,5,6 weeks later, if you’re improving.

And, the prompts often turned off! So I was kinda doin my own thing I suppose. Ugh.

Highly recommended

I am now a 5k runner because of this app. It’s simple to use and it will help you reach your fitness goals.

Keeps me sane!

I find this app absolutely fantastic. I’d done couch25k and wanted to keep running but don’t have time in my life to go for a 10k or marathon trainer. This lets me improve and track my progress while sticking to 3 runs per week of about the right length. I’ve done the pacer 4 times now. It has helped me recover from an ankle injury and I can see how much fitter and faster I’ve got. On practicalities, it works well also NY side music or a podcast. Very occasionally it will freeze and stop tracking my distance but this only happens once every few months and isn’t a big deal. In short, I love this app. I’m not exaggerating when I say it has changed my life! Oh, and I love the 7-minute workouts by Fitness22. I do one after each run as a warm down and to do some upper body exercise.

Glitchy

The 5k runner works perfectly. This one gets stuck so you can’t move forward or back in your chosen run.

Keeps me motivated!!

I started with the 5K App 8 months ago. That got me from barely running three minutes to running a 5k easily. Then did the 10K, successfully completed that. Now I’m doing this 5k pacer and am excited to do it again now that I’m about finished. After another round of this, I’ll do the marathon training. The variability of the runs keeps me motivated, as I get bored easily. Love it! Thank you!!

Coding issue

Some of your coding is off for when to switch paces and half way marks. But I like the progression of runs.

Hanging in there!

Loving the pacer app after doing the Couch to 5K app. Thanks to this, I overcame my fear of running. 😊

No cue to run

One of the cues to run didn’t speak so I walked both sessions.

Please make Apple Watch compatible!

I love this app (and the whole family of apps) and I’ve been able to start running, get a 5k distance, run that faster and now I have my sights set on a 10K for fall! The interval setup has been perfect for me and pushed me just enough without feeling incapable. My only complaint about the app is that it doesn’t have a version for my Apple Watch. I would love to have it buzz on my wrist to move on to the next run/walk/faster portion. Please consider making that an update!

Perfect app to increase pace !!

This is the perfect app to use after completing 5K Runner. This will take my times to the next level

Great app

However, not updated to fit the screen of the new iphones

Ok but

A useful guide to improving your speed at running but it is a little sparse with instruction and guidance. I also wanted to edit my runs as I train on a treadmill at present but there is no way to input a distance or calories burned

Aimed at very slow runners

I had used the 10K trainer app to rehab my running after a having issues for a while but to be honest this app isn’t much use once you can run a 5k in a single session. I can already run that distance in under 26 minutes and this app comes nowhere near that, towards the end of the program it’s still asking you to run for most of an hour and still putting in walking breaks. Also there’s no guidance as to how to measure your speed. What is “slightly faster”? It’s entirely subjective. Take my advice: download a metronome app and learn to run to a tempo which you progressively increase over time or use to add higher pace intervals. Yes, it’s boring but it’ll benefit you more than just winging it with this app.

No way to see improvement, no running stats

I finished the 5k pro app and was pretty happy with it so got the 5k pacer to continue my workouts. So far I’ve been disappointed.
There is no way to see/measure your pace so I have no idea if I’m making progress. I had to get MapMyRun to keep track of my pace. You can’t even calculate your running pace because of the 5 minute walks before and after the runs.

Worse than the free one

Can’t end the run. It thinks I am still on it. But I hit did it several times and it keeps adding the same unfinished run.

Very good app

But needs updating...
