Not Bad
The app does not provide a way to either cancel a request to delete an item from a list or recall it. As is, if you accidentally an item it is gone and there is now way to get it back unless you type it in and that is if you are lucky enough to know which item you deleted. While planning a future trip that has happened to me five times and is very aggravating as well as a problem. I contacted the developer about two weeks ago regarding a different issue and I have yet to hear back from them. If I don’t get a response to this review I will downgrade the rating to one star.

Not Bad
I have had this app for about five years but this is the first time really using it. The app has an extensive database of items however, I found it easier to delete their lists and create my own than to try and edit their lists because there are many things that would never apply and I would have to delete those items from the list each use. One thing that is missing that I think is essential is the ability to add due dates to items in the To-do list with the app sending notifications with an item is due. Without that you really need to use the Reminders app on the phone to track your to-do lists.

Essential for My Travel
This app is so helpful to me. I travel for work a lot, and these days if I take a trip that’s more than one night, I can’t do without this app. It’s pretty user-friendly, though it could use a couple of tweaks. But I really appreciate how you can edit lists to really make them your own and add things that are specific to you.

Love this app. Been using it for years. It’s simple yet smart enough to have the features I want. I am often trying to hit tight weight limits when I travel, so having the weights of my items in my database is invaluable.

Great for RVers
Both my husband and I love having this app. We RV quite a bit and the lists both of are able to create greatly reduces our stress when getting ready for a trip. Since we take essentially the same things on each trip, it’s an easy matter to clear the check boxes from the previous trip and start fresh. Wonderful app!

Can’t live without it
I’ve started traveling for work and need to create and track my packing list for each trip. Packing Pro is a no brainer - without it my organization would be a lot worse.
Simple effective packing list app
I love this app. It’s simple, aesthetically pleasing to look at, & you can easily make a new similar list from a previously used list. I love the alert feature as well so I remember to get ready for my trip ahead of time
and the preset categories which usually has about 90% of the things I was going to put in my list anyway, and some ideas that I didn’t think about that I can use. I highly recommend trying it

My favourite packing and trip prep app
Really like how customizable it is— can be very detailed or just a quick high level list. The ability to clone from stock templates or from existing packing lists saves a lot of time, and allows for incremental refinement.
Excellent Tool!
I have used this app for several years and several overseas trips. I have found it very useful for all the tasks required to ensure my family and I were prepared to travel. It is reassuring to have all the tasks in one place. The flexibility of the tool has helped to make it more useful for creating categories of tasks (work versus home) required for completion before I leave to enjoy our vacation. Highly recommend!

Indispensable
I have used this app for more than 60 trips since 2010. I have a template for domestic trips and one for international ones. It’s so easy to create a new trip from one of the templates and then remove items not needed for that trip. Thank you, Quinn!
Amazing App
We have been using this app for a very long time. 10+ years? We have a checklist we use for our trailer when we go camping, another list for when we go on work trips, we use one for ski trips, it makes it super easy to remember everything you need and reuse your list. I have one for a shopping list for spring gardening. It is especially good for repetitive activities!!! You can fine tune it as you need. I also can send a copy to my nephew when he gets to go with us.

Far less stress
I always use this app before, during and after each trip I make and it has saved me from many disasters and makes the packing process so less stressful. I simply copy a similar past trip (eg local, interstate, overseas & season) and start updating. Saves me heaps of time, money and travel anxiety. My wife is even now an avid user of this app.

I would hate to travel without it
I have been using Packing Pro since 2015 and find it to be very useful, though I do have to hack it quite a bit to fit my needs. I am a solo traveler, so I use the “person” to indicate each piece of luggage I carry and the “bags” to indicate each numbered packing cube or subdivision of a bag, i.e. “outside pouch.” I guess one of the strangest things I do is use a “person” for my Scotevest, and use the “bag” for each pocket of the vest.
I can tell you that doing digital pre-packing has been a lifesaver. I weigh all my items in grams, so when the app totals up everything, it is very accurate. I feel much more relaxed when approaching a regional European flight with strict carryon limits. It also makes packing up as I leave each location stress free, since I never leave anything behind, as I check off each thing as it is packed up again.

Super App
Unfortunately it has disappeared from my iPhone and now wants payment again to download. Not sure why as it’s backed up to the cloud and I’ve only ever had the one account.
I absolutely love this app. It makes such a difference to getting organised for trips and ensuring I get everything done appropriately for every type of trip. It syncs well between my phone and iPad. Adding items is a little tricky but I think that is just about getting used to it.
