What's New in Padr

1.8.3

August 14, 2026

FOOD HUB AND DAILY TARGETS Food Hub is easier to use, with quicker ways to add and log food, a clearer view of what has been served, and one Feeding plan shared with your cat's profile. You can also adjust daily water, food and play targets for each cat. YOUR CAT'S WORLD Today’s cat signals are closer, clearer and easier to scan. Launch, sign-in and home transitions are smoother too. CAT HEALTH Wellbeing, nutrition, litter and weight now show clearer, more consistent health signals. Meet Padr 1.8, our biggest refresh yet. • Pawtfolio gives every cat a shared home for photos, Live Photos, short videos and notes. • Kastardos bring playful illustrated characters made for your cat. Padr+ includes one original family Pack, and additional Packs are optional one-time purchases. • A calmer redesign brings thoughtful Liquid Glass details to supported iPhones. • Give Today and Care more personality with 28 wallpapers that adapt to light and dark appearances. • New fresh onboarding experience when joining Padr, adding more cats or navigating your neonatal kitten. • Custard chased and caught lots of mice and bugs in this release. MADE FOR EACH CAT Padr is designed around each individual cat. Their own care history and habits shape personalised context, grounded in veterinary recommendations and published research rather than one-size-fits-all averages. • Wellbeing lets you choose what your cat is doing and how they seem, then brings the check-in together with recent Care and familiar routines for a calm, cat-specific analysis. • New Shortcuts open Today, Care, Pawtfolio and Food Hub, or record water, food, litter and Care notes. • Typed Care records make grooming, medication, vet visits and preventive care easier to keep together. • Family syncing is more dependable, and supported device setup and status are clearer. • Padr's foundations are ready for upcoming iOS 27 experiences, while the app continues to support iOS 17 and later. A new look, more ways to care and the same honest focus on your cat.

User reviews

Completely broken

It crashed on me while trying to add my two cats, when I force quit and reopened it only had one of my cats listed 10 times. I deleted nine of them then tried again to add my second cat and it never worked. The menu at the bottomoverlaps some other menu at the bottom. When trying to choose a time zone there are about 10 different "Eastern" to choose from. I don't know why it insists on creating dozens of the same cat, dozens of the same time zone, multiple menus at the bottom that overlap. After 10 minutes of not getting anywhere I quit the app and deleted.

Response from developer

We’re truly sorry you had this experience, and thank you for taking the time to describe it so clearly. We fixed the onboarding bug that could create duplicate cat profiles as soon as we identified it. For Padr 1.8, we also rebuilt the affected onboarding flow, made timezone selection clearer, and redesigned the navigation. We believe the app is now in much better shape: calmer, clearer, and far more reliable. We completely understand why you deleted it, but if you’re willing to try Padr 1.8, we’d be grateful for another chance. Padr is growing, and your feedback genuinely helped us make it better.

FAQ

What does Padr do?

Padr is a cat health intelligence app that centralizes all your cat's care data. It allows you to track feeding, hydration, litter habits, activity, and weight, either manually or automatically through smart pet devices. The app calculates a daily Health Score based on veterinary science to provide a clear overview of your cat's wellbeing.

How does Padr track my cat's health?

Padr tracks your cat's health through various methods. It integrates with smart feeders, water fountains, and litter boxes via Smart Life (Tuya) or Home Assistant for automatic logging. You can also manually log feeding, hydration, litter habits, activity, and weight. The app uses this data to calculate a daily Health Score and provides AI-powered health briefs with actionable insights.

Is Padr free to use?

Padr offers a freemium model. Basic tracking and health score features are available for free. However, advanced features like smart device integrations, AI daily health briefs, device controls, live camera feeds, and unlimited family members require a Padr+ subscription. Subscription plans include weekly, monthly, and annual options with free trial periods.

What devices are compatible with Padr?

Padr supports integration with smart pet devices through Smart Life (Tuya) and Home Assistant. This includes feeders, water fountains, litter boxes, and cameras from brands using the Tuya platform. For Home Assistant, it can connect to a local or remote instance and support a wide range of pet devices, including Litter-Robot, Sure Petcare, PetSafe, and CatLink.

Who is Padr designed for?

Padr is exclusively designed for cat owners who want a comprehensive and privacy-focused way to monitor their feline's health. It's particularly useful for multi-cat households, owners of smart pet devices, and those who want to leverage data-driven insights to ensure their cat's optimal wellbeing from kittenhood to senior years.
