Basically Jail After Prison

You are not safe in a PadSplit. I stayed in Florida. You will have people like Kevin Gates chasing you around a table threatening you with a knife. Paul Sherman threatening to hit you with a chair. Scott Ecklund will be doing meth and commit battery on you. Other people will have warrants and will leave bad reviews about you that are lies. Roommates will vandalize your car and hosts won’t do anything about it. This platform should be banned. They bring bad people into otherwise safe neighborhoods. They don’t enforce rules and they will terminate your account in favor of the criminals.

Garbage app

Downloaded needed a place. Made me pay 19$ for backround check to find NOBODY IN PORTLAND uses this app. And they WANT ME TO PAY FOR A MEMBERSHIP FOR MORE ACCESS. TERRIBLE SERVICE STICK TO WILLOW OR FACEBOOK

Still Inconsistent.

I haven’t even been able to step foot into a Padsplit experience with a host. Yet already I can tell that the “signage” doesn’t resonate with the experience…at least not in the Philadelphia area. Hosts should not be asking me to upload private financial documents to an unsecured chat. - Which brings to question Padsplits approval process. If I am already approved to rent up to a certain amount per week why is a host asking for something already provided.

Then just yesterday I tried to instant book for a more seamless experience. Nope apparently the host doesn’t know how to schedule availability accurately -tried to blame padsplit app, either way it’s very suspicious because the money for the first weeks rent already came out of my account. Meaning I have already paid this host to prepare a room that she is now saying is not available?!

- So far my experience has not been much different than trying to rent an apartment.

TJ the host

I like my padsplit it’s my first time being on my own and I feel comfortable happy and I got a nice host Tj 😊

PadSplit support is unhelpful

My experience with PadSplit support has been extremely frustrating. Whether you contact support by email or phone, getting meaningful assistance can be difficult. Concerns that should be handled promptly may take weeks or even months to address.
I also feel that hosts have too much freedom to make decisions that can negatively affect residents, with little urgency from support when concerns are raised.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend using PadSplit. If you are considering the app, I strongly suggest researching other options and reading recent reviews before making a decision.

A very predatory platform

The guy next door to me killed himself,The host are like annoying parents, you cannot have company. And God forbid you dispute anything that they charge you.But won’t offer a refund for having to deal with annoying host.

❌❌❌❌

Padsplit had been a blessing to me ❤️🙏🙌

I love padsplit it has helped me save money when I was rebuilding my life after a major loss in my life I’m so grateful for padsplit very easy and accurate my hosts Melinda and micheal Bryant are the best hosts ever they treated me like family and now my 14year old daughter is living with me in one of Their properties. It’s such a blessing.

Not the best

The host are annoying, you can’t have guest, you never know what to expect when you get home, found my padmate In the bathroom dead while I was getting ready for work. And they won’t give me a refund.

Awful experience

I was using padsplit for a while and my experience was fine up until a point.

The hosts can charge you any fee for any/no reason and without communicating their concerns with you and padsplit will just take their word that it’s your fault.

Also, looking at the rooms for rent in my area a lot of them are very much over priced. Padsplit is supposed to be an affordable option, but I can see it going the same route AirBnB did with its money hungry hosts and extra fees.

They will scam you and ruin your name

I was scammed and billed for weeks I wasn’t there and all my properties was stolen and kept by the landlord and PadSplit supported him and encourage him to do that to everyone and they will denie giving u any information and ask for a police report then after you get a police report they ghost u

MR Akon

i have been renting from pad-split since November 2025 , and i had some babe and good experiences with the management, and i lived with five roommates, since December on a new two story house, i eagle lake florida, i like it and i would recommend friends and family to rent from management team.

wow

i can’t even change my payment due date

Fire

Enjoying experience. 20 minutes from work.

Fee obsession

Fee here… fee there… change payment date. Another fee. Why you cant just switch days like any normal company?

Unreliable company

I’m staying in Atlanta where my host didn’t pay the light bill so for the past four days I have been sitting in the dark. I have called PadSplit multiple times and they pretty much just told me there’s nothing that they can do. I wouldn’t rely on this company because even though I sitting in the dark, I still have to pay weekly rent at least if you were in an apartment they would do something for you rather than just tell you there’s nothing that they can do. I would suggest other platforms. This is coming from someone who is still currently sitting in the dark.

Super convenient for last minute places

I moved from Florida to Texas and found a spot in a week after approval. Super helpful and the process is easy . Find a spot you like, apply, have the income to support it and talk to landlord. It allows a free one time switch if you don’t like it as well.

Don’t sign up anyone

I had gotten someone else referred to PadSplit and they stiffed me on the $250 referral bonus even after I sent them proof that they asked for be careful with these guys

Need to fix it

It auto paid my rent while I have no funds. I never turned it on

No worth it

I wouldn’t refer anyone to used PadSplit at all this is my first time using it if you a person who needs a payment plan on your rent or more time to get it paid PadSplit isn’t for you the host is hard to get in contact with maybe because they host more homes the customer service team or rude I understand you guys Might be getting more phone calls from anger residents and also they really don’t work with you with the rent you have to file a claim for the host to approve it not good at all by the time they get to it your account might be gone.
