Made the switch, Loving It!

I found the app through Youtube and made the switch from Goodreads and have been loving it. The UI is super clean and user friendly and I really enjoy the ranking feature. A feature I would love to see in the future is being able to track how many pages read per day and see trends on how that changes per week/per month. Thanks!

a wonderful beginning

i don’t normally write reviews. i tend to hesitate over words, the way others may interpret them, but something about my experience thus far seems to have compelled me into writing this. i also wanted to express my appreciation to its creator, hyunjin.

the app is not finished, far from it. it is still becoming, and yet it already feels complete in a way. the interface is simple, pared down, almost weightless in its response. moving through it feels unforced, as if nothing is asking more of you than you are willing to give. you log what you’ve read, and it remains there, a small record, a soft outline of your particular interests.

signing a pact to hold yourself accountable is optional, but it lingers in a thoughtful way. i find myself returning to it, more committed because of it, as if i’ve made a quiet promise to myself. it encourages me to approach reading with a bit more care, and of course, a bit more intention.

i have used goodreads and storygraph before. they felt larger, more distant. this feels closer, more intimate. this is thanks to its amazing creator, someone who understands what is to be a community, someone who listens, who applies feedback thoughtfully.

i hope others may give this app a chance, as i did. maybe you’ll find yourself reading a little more, and perhaps, along the way, come across a few kind people too.

Perfect

Simple, easy to navigate, and has *actually* useful features!

Amazing App

Really love how data driven it is. The owner has been committed to making updates and fixes and is obviously passionate about the app and its users.

Insightful!!

Beautiful design too

Better than Goodreads

Promotes a community for readers. It feels more akin to other modern media tracking apps than Goodreads does.

Like family!

I LOVE this app and the community that comes with it! The creator is always online and responding to feedback, as well as just being a fellow book lover. I think my favorite feature in the app is the option to see how similar your reading habits and tastes are to others on the app (books you both want to read and have read, comparing your ratings of the same books, and the percentage of similarity between you). I also love the more diverse ranking/rating system. I will continue to recommend this app to any reader I know!

shoutout hyunj

thank you for creating this amazing app

Great app

I’m loving PagePact so far. I often struggle to figure out an exact rating for any type of media, so the ranking system this app encourages is really great. The UI is very functional and actually works unlike the 2 other major book reviewing apps. All in all, great app. Should get very popular

A Genuinely good ball tracking app

Clean, Simple and has some of the features I have been looking for a book reader. A brilliant attempt and I’m rooting for it to be successful.

Clean

Very clean UI. Very responsive. I like that I can track all my reading habits and books and progress on one app. And it feels useful and not like a gimmick app trying to advertise to me constantly.

goodreads killer
