This app needs DEDICATED advisors at Apple Care

Hi, I have been using Pages as my exclusive word processing app for four or five years a as. most advisors I’ve talked with. Don’t really use the app personally, and are not able to advise me on the intricacies that I can’t figure out. This has been a consistent problem. for five years

Difficult to use at best.

On iOS it’s virtually impossible to navigate and edit. Not worth bother with.

best app to make books

i made a whole chapter book and it ws so easy

Good

It is good, but it doesn’t always let me paste things when I went to so I wanted to let me paste things but it hears really well with the microphone and it. Yeah it’s good.

SOS: Footnotes not working

After updating my iPad Pro 13 (M5) to iPadOS 27, the footnote insertion isn’t working.

Not easily compatible

Can’t easily change font or size of font. The type size on the page turns out smaller in the PDF

Apple

Specialist failed to help me.

Could be better

It would be nice if Pages gave a choice of what format to save rather than having to export to another format. So, when I save a document, there can be a dialogue option to save the file in Word, PDF, Pages (or a combination) formats. This would save a step whereby I have to manually save the document in another format for sending or posting (especially resumes and cover letters).

Overall, Pages is a good product. I had to buy the premium, and I should not have to. Apple has always been exclusive and found a way to embrace PDF and Word, but it was always free. For a company that already makes a huge profit from high prices, nickel and dime customers leaves a black mark on the company.

I love app

Issues

The program keeps glitching and I have to force close it.

Pastor

I use this as my go-to writing app.

Superheroes

How do you guys like? Draw the cover of the book?

Five star!

I love Apple Pages I think I actually use it more than docs. I’m also very happy with the new update that were recently made.

WORTH the swap!

I hesitated for so long to make the swap from Word to Pages. I wish I would have wised up sooner. Pages is everything Word is and so much more!

Spacing and update…

GRR…. Can’t get it to fit. Sometimes it refuses to let me move down ONE row, but goes two and will not budge.

messy

Pages has become much less intuitive. Too many basic controls are hidden, and the app guesses what I want far too often.
For example, if I type “1” at the beginning of a line, Pages assumes I want a numbered list and keeps continuing with 2, 3, 4, 5 even when I don’t want a list at all. If I switch that behaviour off several times, the app should understand that I don’t want it instead of forcing the same automatic formatting again.
This is especially frustrating because the controls to change or disable these things are not obvious. If Apple wants to hide more of the interface, then the behaviour needs to be much more intuitive, predictable and easier to correct.

Pages

Great for so many things even an oldie like me can get to grips with although i realise it is capable of so much more. Getting more confident myself now thanks to the way it is. I will never use to its full extent but enjoying what I do.

Pages Review

Easy to use, I like it a lot!

Original Pages was great but this paid version not so great!!

Don’t waste your money on upgrading to the paid suite of numbers, pages, keynote. The originals work fine. The paid versions slow down the Mac have compatibility issues and cause indexing issues with my Mac constantly and consistently. Stick with the version that comes prepackaged with the Mac. Apple should not be levying further fees for this.

DO BETTER APPLE!

This app has great potential! At this stage of the technology game, this app should have WAY LESS issues than it has!! I’ve been trying to fix and update my resume for 2 friggin hours!!! Every dang time I make a change to the section I’m working on… BOOM APP FROZEN, AGAIN!! At this point I’m about to download Google apps and do what I needed with that and NEVER use these again! SMH! Not a happy customer right now!
