This app helps pain researchers run four common behavioral experiments on their mobile device: * NOPR (Novel Object Preference Recognition) — Measures how much time an animal spends exploring familiar vs. new objects. It evaluates recognition memory. * Von Frey Up-Down — Measures mechanical pain sensitivity using calibrated filaments to find the threshold force that causes a withdrawal response. * Grimace Scale Assessment — Evaluates pain by scoring pain-related facial expressions. Provides an objective pain measure without requiring specific behaviors. * Cold-Sensitivity Testing — Measures how animals respond to cold stimuli, either by latency (time to first response) or frequency (count of responses).
