That's really frustrating to be charged when you were expecting a free trial. Free trials are typically for first-time users, so a repeat trial will bill immediately. The App Store shows the exact charge in the final purchase confirmation. For refunds, Apple handles those directly: reportaproblem.apple.com is the fastest path. Sign in with your Apple ID, find the purchase, and request a refund.
Hard to use

It's a fair point that houses usually have multiple colors for trim and walls, and you can definitely do that in the app. The trick is to select each area separately using the polygon or lasso tools for precision, then apply the color. Hope that helps make it more useful for you!

We hear that comparison. The app's free experience is quite limited, which can definitely feel basic. Unlocking premium gives you the full color mixer with RGB and hue sliders to dial in precise shades for real-world paint decisions, which is quite a bit beyond what MS Paint can do.

For precise shades like pure white, grays, or specific HEX colors, you can bypass the color wheel entirely: tap the 3-dot menu at the top right, then 'Add HEX color' to type in any code directly. That also unlocks the full RGB and hue sliders for fine-tuning. For a refund, Apple handles those directly at reportaproblem.apple.com - that's the fastest way to request one.
