perfect!

simple, but in the best way! bonus points for no ai, no ads, and super cute art! the only things i would add are having the option to have notifications for certain tasks sent at certain times (maybe even multiple times incase you forget to check it off), and repeated tasks for multiple days of the week, instead of every day or every 2/3/etc days. me and surely many others have trouble with leaving tasks unchecked when we cant do that task until another day of the week, but also would struggle with making a new task for it everyday. other than that, i couldnt ask for a better task helper!

Yea I do need to get per task notifications in. Even I need it for myself, I've been procrastinating too long on developing it hehe. But we actually do have recurring tasks for multiple days of the week! In the recurring task modal, you will see tabs up top for "Daily", "Weekly", and "Monthly". Just choose weekly, and you can do stuff like select "Monday", "Wednesday", and "Friday" if you do a specific chore on those days. Also I encourage you to join the Discord, and you can talk to me directly if you have any ideas or feedback.

Amazing App

Love the app for how simple it is and the art is very lovely. I find the system neat for how it rewards you for coins for finishing tasks and you using the coins to customize your little pets room. Another thing that I admire about this app is how it allows your pet to explore different places once you completed all your tasks. As much as I love this app I wish you could interact with your virtual pet in more ways like in a mini game or something. Another Idea in the future update would be to add more customization options for furniture, wallpapers, rugs, and doors. Overall though It’s a great app and I highly recommend it towards those who want to learn to organize better!

Thank you so much for this review, it really means a lot. I'm right there with you on both ideas. More ways to interact with your companion would make the app more delightful and motivating, and I'd love to expand customization well beyond furniture. A couple of things I've been toying with: customizing the outside of your house, or growing a garden. The goal is just to make the space feel like your own and the Paka world feel alive. And definitely more companions ahead, each with their own personality and way of cheering you on. Thanks again for the kind words and the great suggestions!

Helpful, simple, cute

Paka is just what I needed!! Too many apps feel over complicated and over designed when you just want to do one thing: improve yourself. You can't improve yourself if you have to spend tons of time glued to your phone! This app is basically an adorable to do list with enjoyable other features if you WANT to put that extra time in. Love it and can't wait to see how it grows!
