Time visualizer and countdown

I’ve been using Weel for several years and I love how it represents my schedule with a clock-like graph. The day and month views visualize when events occur during the day. I use the widgets to keep tabs on my day with a countdown of upcoming events and a visual reminder of the remaining time for current events. The standby mode widgets are helpful when docked on a desk or at night as a reminder of the upcoming day.

Would love to see lockscreen widgets added. Though homescreen widgets were broken for a couple weeks after the 2.0 update, I’m glad to see they have been fixed in time for spooky season.

Response from developer

Thank you for this, and for sticking with Weel for so many years. You're right that a frozen countdown defeats the point of the app, and we're sorry it hit you as a paying customer. The good news: this is fixed. iOS 27 changed how widgets are refreshed in the background, which was causing them to stall after a while. Version 2.0.1 reworked the widget refresh logic to handle that, and 2.0.2 is already out with further improvements. If you update, the countdown and StandBy widgets should stay live again. If anything still looks stale after updating, please email us at info@weelplanner.app with your iPhone model and iOS version and I'll look at it personally. We'd love to have you back. iOS 27 bugs

However, Weel has a serious bug on iOS 27 where the widgets get stuck after a while, and the countdown becomes stale and unreliable. How can one depend on a calendar app to keep you on track when it gets frozen, the answer is you can’t. This is not a small bug, it fundamentally prevents the app from doing what it is meant to do. And I’m a paying customer, so it’s even more frustrating. In the meantime, I will use other apps until the developers have a fix.

Wtf??

There’s too much going on that I have to look for within the app so the times and days I book make sense on the wheel chart.
At first I thought the wheel graph, chart , whatever it is was cool with the different colours with each category, but I can’t figure it all out. And my adhd gets angry every time I put an appointment in.
Chat to a human opinion seems like what’s app, but no one has answered yet. I’m done with this.

Hello! Sorry it didn’t work out for you and so sorry we missed your what’s app message! We completely understand that the Weel layout doesn’t click for everyone, but please shoot us an email at info@weelplanner.app if you have any suggestions on how we could improve! Thanks for giving us a shot! Shay from Weel

Paywall Slop

Good concept until you realize necessary features like “event colors” are locked behind a paywall… just manure it free with ads or figure out a way to sell a subscription without scummy tactics.

Why A Subscription?!?

The things that you’re offering like different colored events does not in any way warrant a subscription! I don’t care if it’s only 5 a month, this is one time purchase stuff at best. Nothing you’re offering requires constant maintenance on your end, like if you were to provide a cloud based service of your own. This app requires none of that from you, and so why do you ask us to pay you regularly??? Quit being greedy!
