Palepage

Some things you carry longer than you meant to. Palepage is a quiet place to set them down. Write down what you can't put down — the conversation you keep replaying, the decision you can't settle, the thing that loops at 2am. Seal it with wax by candlelight. Then let time do the forgetting. THE RITUAL Light the candle. Write the letter. Choose one line to keep — the line the ink will hold onto longest. Press and hold the seal until it sets. It's not yours to carry now. THE INK FADES ON ITS OWN Your letter is never deleted. It fades. The details go first, slowly, over real days and weeks — while the one line you chose stays legible the longest. Nothing is asked of you. You don't have to open the app for time to pass. IF YOU STILL CARE, THAT'S ALLOWED Now and then the candle remembers an old letter and asks whether it still matters. Keep it, let it go on fading, or re-ink it and bring it back. Forgetting is never demanded of you. Holding on is not a failure. YOUR WORDS STAY WITH YOU No account. No server. No network request for your letters. Everything you seal is stored only on your device. We cannot read your letters — no one can, unless they have your device. You can lock them behind a passphrase (AES-GCM); the passphrase is never stored or transmitted. Export or erase everything, at any time.
