This update introduces Compass, rebuilds the app around each child for parents, and changes how pages work on a phone. Compass is a new area for onboarding and policy packs. A pack brings together documents, links and notes, is sent to chosen groups or people with a due date, and chases itself with automatic reminders. Documents are uploaded once and reused across packs, with versions kept, so everyone can be asked to confirm a policy again when it changes. Completion is tracked with totals, filters and a history for each person, and staff can record a completion on someone's behalf, withdraw someone, send a reminder or export the results. New joiners can be sent a personal link before they have an account, which is joined to their School record once it exists. Packs can include multiple-choice questions with a pass mark, marked securely, with answers shown only after a pass. Parents now get an app arranged around their children. Each child has their own tab, which can be reordered or hidden, and each child's profile leads with attendance and offers timetable and report tabs where the School shares them. Each of a child's sets has an option to email all of its teachers. On a phone, each page's sidebar is now a capsule above the tab bar. It names the page you are on, opens the full list in a sheet, and holds that page's main action, so saving a register, requesting cover, sending a message or completing a report is always in the same place and always within reach. Pages whose sidebars are simply lists of destinations open as a searchable grid instead. School reports now show previous reports from earlier cycles, matched by set, subject or step and sorted by year, and note when a report was written on another member of staff's behalf. Roster differences now name the pupil, set and staff involved. Also in this release: scheduled messages now deliver their notifications, tapping a notification opens the page it refers to, the web app starts reliably when notification support is blocked, draft messages keep their subject, and staff with export permission can open reports again.
