User reviews

User for years of PTZ control app

Highly recommend PanTiltZoom 2.0. I was an early doctor from 1.0 and have been using it for a few years now without any issues if I do have problems it’s usually related to the camera itself. Highly recommend this app if you’re looking for something to control your cameras. I am a heavy PTZoptics.com user

Works!

It is the main app that works for me to control my PTZ cameras. It is sometimes glitchy, but it still does what it’s supposed to do.

Great app

Exactly what I need for my church live stream

New update broke things

Before the update, this app was everything I needed for my PTZ camera control. Unfortunately after the new update I am not able to pan anymore, only zoom. I reached out to the developer but I have not heard back. Was hoping for better support for a paid app.

Most recent update

So after the layout being the same for many years, the update changed it and took a little while to get used to and I still forget at times. The response of the controls seemed to be good at the beginning, no issues there. Well, now that it’s been a little over a month since the update, the response of the controls have taken a major hit. There’s a delay in getting cameras to move but then once it does, there’s not a lot of control over the speed. It moves slow and then goes into fast mode. It doesn’t gradually increase the speed it moves based on how much I move the joystick. I’ve changed the manual tilt speed and it only affects the fast speed but doesn’t do anything for the gradual increase.
