Expected better

It only allows you to load three pictures and then you have to put the rest of the ingredients by hand which limits your recipe options and then recipe that gives you a fraction you could possibly make

Thanks for the feedback. You're right that three photos is limiting — we're rolling out an update that lets you snap up to 9 photos at once. Sorry for the inconvenience

Don’t get this app

I downloaded this app for recipes:
1. It didn’t even recognize ingredients I had that were facing the camera
2.It didn’t save the ingredients I put in manually
3.It never gave me any recipes, just sat on the loading screen for 30 minutes
Very poor app, do not download

Sorry about this, and thank you for bringing it to our attention!! 🙏 We found a configuration issue that may have caused ingredients and recipe generation to not complete properly. This has now been fixed, so please try again when you get a chance. If you contact us via support, we’ll also add 3 months complimentary access to your account as an apology for the poor experience.

Such a handy app

Honestly I love this app. I didn’t realise how much food we were wasting until I started using Pantry Pic! Taking a quick photo and getting actual meal ideas from what’s in the fridge is sooo handy!! Especially on busy nights. It’s changed my behaviour so I only buy what I need, the add missing ingredients to shopping list for recipes is handy, even a quick photo of what’s on special in the shops helps find recipes from discounted produce.

Many ways to utilise this app!

Place marked down short dated meat with vegetables and fruit on special in shopping basket and take a photo, generate recipes, and any ingredients I don’t have, I purchase while in the store.
To save on power bills, I select family for “who for” so I have leftovers for two or more meals.
Or to fill up dates 🤪 with surprisingly tasty recipes.
This app is sexy!
