Essential College Student App
I am using it right now and this was exactly what I was looking for. I have an exam in the morning and I had so many readings I needed to do. Thanks to this app I am able to get through all the boring readings I need in order to prepare for my test and save my grade. I am using this app for studying from now on. I am even gonna use it to help me read through big boring books that don’t have any audio. I also like how it highlights the text allowing me to follow along easier. I wish I would have found this sooner.

Extremely Helpful
Fundamentally, this is an extremely helpful app. The conversion is excellent, the voices are very smooth, and while you’re reading a book it even indicates when there’s an image. If you have notes, it can explain what they mean. It’s immensely helpful. Thank you, Joe and team, for building this, I’ll definitely be using it more. It’s an amazing, extremely well-made app.

Image summary
While I love this app and it really helped me with my studies I suggest that you could put in an option whether they could read aloud the image summaries or not cause sometimes I realise that most of the times the reason the audio was long because of reading the image summaries

Simply great
I have a subscription to Speechify but have been less than happy about some of the app functionality so I tried Paper2Audio to see how it compared and this beats Speechify hands down. The audio conversion is very good, the free plan gives you 56 hours of audio a week, not a month or a year, you can download the audio so you don’t need an internet connection to listen and there is a good selection of voices. There is excellent support. It is simply great and worth a 5 star review.

Stellar app
I rarely write reviews but this is such a brilliant, feature-rich app with a friendly and responsive developer, that I felt I ought to. I’m really time poor, with lots of reading to do for my job and a toddler so very little time at home. This app lets me prepare when I can’t look at a screen but have mental space - doing chores, on public transport, walking places. I ignore the AI summaries and use it to read academic articles to me. It is feature/rich, constantly updated and has a generous free tier (which I hope will continue to be so). I’m looking forward to further improvements, for example to the UI (which is a bit cluttered and functional), a better icon and especially a widget and Siri shortcuts. But it is already great and if I had more need I would pay for the higher tier without hesitation. Highly recommended.

A must-have app in the digital world
I accidentally found this gem of a app on Playstore and Apple Store. At first I thought it would be any other run of the mill app. However, it has far exceeded my expectations as a student. Its ability to read complex texts, generate an accurate transcript, provide a host of audio options, and also an AI Summary feature tick all the right boxes for an app which is in a crowded field of other audio apps. The customer support is prompt and super nice. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is an audio-fan for relieving some strain off your eyes in this digital world. Cheers and kudos to the team behind Paper2Audio. Looking forward to even more improved features!

I’ve used several text to audio apps over the years. Paper2Audio is my overwhelming favorite. It works really well, has well designed features, and keeps getting better and better.
Best free app for reading PDFs
This app does what I wish was accessible online for so many others. It’s essentially free speechify. It’s not stuck behind some paywall. It isn’t trying to take advantage of students. It is a very, very good free resource and it deserves all of the hype that it can get.

The app does exactly what you’d expect, and does it very well.

Phenomenal app! The level of quality that has gone into this app should not be overlooked. It’s easy to forgot that the text you uploaded is not from a production studio, and was curated from your upload just minutes before. The subtle nuances, the voice inflections, and even how a second narrator can creep into the conversation and blend its part in a supportive manner, almost like a well produced podcast, is what makes this experience one of the best I’ve experienced. As someone who’s listened to thousands of hours of audiobooks of all kinds, I can’t say enough, “get this app.”
