About
What separates a golfer stuck in the 90s from one who breaks 90?
Before the swing, it's the scorecard. Write down only your total and you'll never know which holes cost you strokes, or why. Start tracking greens in regulation, fairways and putts, and what to fix shows up in numbers.
PARON is a personal scorecard for golfers who take their game seriously.
■ Know your game
Two or three taps after you hole out, and that hole is done. When the round ends, PARON works out GIR, fairways hit, average putts, 3-putts and your score distribution. The Stats tab shows your average score, putts, GIR, FW and score distribution for your last 3, 5 or 10 rounds or all of them, with 9-hole and 18-hole rounds tracked separately, and trend charts once you have 5 rounds. You can only fix the weaknesses you can see.
■ Ready on the first tee in seconds
No login, no sign-up. Recording, saving and stats all work offline (no bars on a mountain course, no problem), and a round uses no mobile data. Hole-by-hole pars for 473 golf courses across South Korea are built in (1,137 courses and nines, listed by their Korean names): pick the course, tap its OUT and IN nines, and every hole's par fills in. Anywhere else, type the course name and set each hole's par as you go.
■ The look of a paper scorecard, records that stay on your phone
A circle for a birdie, a double circle for an eagle, a square for a bogey: the notation of a paper scorecard, set exactly the way you'd write it. Round records are never sent to a server, so your scores stay on your phone. And there are no ads on the screens you use during a round. Not getting in your way while you keep score is the rule.
Features
• Fast stroke-and-putt entry with big number buttons you can press with a glove on, plus haptic feedback
• Automatic GIR, fairways hit, average putts, 3-putts and score distribution
• Stats tab: average score, best, putts, GIR, FW, score distribution and average score by par for your last 3, 5, 10 or all rounds, plus trend charts from 5 rounds (9H and 18H tracked separately)
• PARON Handicap: your level on a good day, worked out from your better rounds among your last 20 full 18-hole rounds; it appears after 10 of them (for reference only, not an official handicap)
• Records tab: rounds by month, hide records, export records to a spreadsheet file that opens in Excel, and import them back
• Built-in pars for 473 golf courses in South Korea; enter any other course by name and set its pars. Works offline
• Birdie ◯, eagle ◎, bogey □: paper-scorecard notation in four color themes
• Share your scorecard as an image: save it, or send it straight to your group chat
• Change a hole's par at any time, resume a round, add a round note, finish even with holes left blank
• Korean, English and Japanese
Records don't lie.
If you want your next round to be different, start by writing this one down.
Notes
• Course par data: the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's national golf course survey (2024-12-31) and each club's official website. Courses not on the list (outside Korea, golf simulators and so on) can be entered by hand.
• Course not on the list? Send us its website address from the Round setup screen in the app. We'll check it and add it as soon as we can.
Round records are kept in the app's local storage and can be lost if you delete the app or reset your device, so keep a copy with "Export records (Excel file)" in the Records tab. On iOS, this data may be backed up and restored by iCloud backup or device-to-device transfer, depending on your settings; the developer does not collect or view these backups.
