This app is advertised to be better then Duolingo but then you have to pay for it to even do a single lesson?! At least Duolingo is free with adds.

One downside
You have to get a subscription, and even when I press the x, it puts me back to the thing in an infinite loop. So yeah, unless you want to do that, just know money is needed. Like, I just want one good learning app that is good but free.

This app has helped me learn so much Spanish in such a short amount of time. I was recently listening to a conversation when I was at a park with my Spanish speaking girlfriend’s family, I understood the story almost fully, and I was surprised with myself. I HIGHLY recommend

I like the overall concept of this app. I like the scroll method however my biggest issue was talking with the “founders” to cancel my subscription. They kept saying it’s on your Apple subscription tab although it wasn’t and it was never listed. I told them twice and that I received a confirmation email. It was processed by a company called Paddle. It took me 3 days to be able to locate it and cancel. They still did not advise me how to cancel using the method I was forced to use.

The owners contacted me and with their great customer service , they have been able to help me figure everything out. Increased a Star!

Doesn’t let you cancel your free trial in the app despite claiming that you can cancel it in your settings. There is no way to cancel it online either and the subscription does not appear in iOS settings.

Paid service
Was looking to become more fluent in Spanish, it was advertised as a free service, but unfortunately the entire app is a paid subscription. Usually services offer a premium version for a subscription fee but the entire service is a subscription, and they don’t tell you that until you start signing up :(

Immediate Paywall- Can’t use
You literally cannot use the app unless you sign up for a free trial. I’ll stick with Duolingo since it is actually free, just give me an ad after each lesson like they do.
Wayyyyy too expensive
No free option whatsoever, if this app actually wanted to help with learning, they wouldn’t be charging $20 a month. That is as expensive as Claude mind you, I could feed myself for a week on this. I would rather not give my hard earned money to an app that is that hungry for my money.
