None of the controls work. Music player interface is horrible to use. Requires iTunes music to be open concurrently, so it’s easier to use iTunes to play music. Hasn’t been updated in 6 years. Should be removed from App Store bc obviously not compatible w current iOS.

I get a error message that says the developer needs to update the app. Please do so! This worked great on my old phone. Help!

Diese App ist nur ein Player für Musik. Ich habe die Rezensionen gelesen und alle Varianten mit dem koppeln, vorher und nachher, die App gestartet, aber es funktioniert immer nur der Abspielmodus für die Musik. Die Lichtsteuerung bleibt deaktiviert und ich kann nichts zum steuern auswählen. Und vor 2 Jahren das letzte Update? Oder gab es überhaupt schon mal eins? Der größte Teil der Nutzer hat Probleme und es passiert nichts. Fazit: APP löschen, da nicht zu gebrauchen. Total schade, aber Musikplayer gibt es bessere.

Great speaker!
Great speaker with great lights. My lights went out last year and was able to replace the module myself. Also had an issue lately where it wouldn’t power up, but after opening it light I did for light replacement saw a couple connections had come loose. Only issue is now that the app doesn’t work very well on my new iPhone 8plus. Can’t give it 5 stars because the app hasn’t lasted as long as my Party Rocker Live. A new update would be nice. Other issue is it was a demo model at Brookstone and the audio input never worked correctly. Use it primarily for Bluetooth.

Won’t work even if i pair before opening app
I re-installed the app and connected the Bluetooth before opening it and it still won’t work . This is a major problem

Die App ist absolut unbrauchbar. Wenn man eine Funktion anwählt, z.B. nur rote Lichteffekte, wird erst mal was ganz anderes ausgeführt und dann schmiert die App ab. Danach muss man den BlockPartyLive neu starten.
Leider will beim deutschen Support und auch nicht im englischsprachigen Forum jemand von dem Problem wissen, obwohl es von mehreren Usern bemängelt wird.
Die Box selbst ist toll, aber die App besch....!!!
