Loved for years—now it’s back!

**Update!** It’s back! Woo hoo!! Thank you for bringing it back. This truly is the best app for making your own wallet passes. I’m so happy. Saving my last star for when code 39 barcode is added, because my kids’ school district uses a dumb app that needs code 39. Now, I’ve got a backlog of QR codes I need to get working on! Thank you again!

This app worked so well for a long time. It didn’t collect any data, there was no account/login required, there were never any popups asking to rate the app. I was able to keep all my QR codes for smart devices in my Apple wallet. That meant that when I needed to remove and add a device to Home, I didn’t need to take down the camera, or take off the door lock, or anything. I could just open wallet on my Apple Watch, get the QR code, and keep going. I had so many use cases, including keeping track of gift cards. I even used it to make a card for my son’s student ID, then sharing it with him, so he could use the barcode from his wallet on his Apple Watch, and didn’t need to download the district’s chosen student app—which was great because he doesn’t have a phone. The app stopped working a while ago, and I sent a couple emails from the app to the developer. I offered all the information I could think of that might be helpful, but never got any responses. The app just stopped connecting to its server one day, and never worked again. I can’t believe I have to find another app now. I gave back another star because of the years that it worked so well for me, but needed to write this review so that in case a new user comes across it, they’ll know it doesn’t work anymore, on any device.

Amazing

Thank you for making this app. Functional, private, kudos to the developers.

De retour!

Vraiment content que cette app soit ressuscitée!

UPDATE

The developer(s) have brought this gem back to life!!! Fully functioning back to normal but even better… and I created a card on airplane mode to test the server issue.. works perfect.

Appreciate all the work you’ve done to make this app a simple yet mighty tool 👍

“Check your internet” error

Good app. But just went to add a card today and it told me to check my internet. Internet is fine.

No longer works at all apparently

Just returns an “unable to connect to service” error when saving the card.

Connection error

Stopped working, don’t waste your time.

Didn’t work

Would not connect to the Internet

Servers down?

Used the app previously and it was great, but now I’m getting a message saying that it can’t connect to their servers

Normally brilliant but server down

I’ve found this incredibly useful to make my own business e-cards, coupons and vouchers when the retailer or company doesn’t do wallet. But today I kept on getting “server down” messages. I hadn’t even known it transferred any data to a server.
Tried sending feedback to the developer and the email bounced back. Maybe they’ve gone bust? Hope not because this was a great app.

App appears to no longer be functional

App appears to no longer be functional as the servers the app communicates with appear permanently offline.

Card upload fails + Add to Wallet connection error

Unable to upload a photo of my card: it automatically crops the image to 1/3 of the correct size, making it extremely faint. At the final “Add to Wallet” stage, this error appears: “We were unable to connect to the service at this time. Please check your internet connection and try again later.”

Service is DEFUNCT

Tried this app, and the first thing I tried to add brought up a message that said “We were unable to connect to the service at this time.” I asked Google what gives, and it said “the service appears to be broken because the developers domain (girappe.com) is down and no longer resolves, meaning the server required to generate the Apple Wallet pass is unreachable. User reports and community tracking indicate the app is likely abandoned or no longer actively supported by the developer.”

So much for this app. It should be REMOVED from the App Store, if it’s truly as dead as it seems!

This is a phenomenal app, unfortunately it isn’t working at the moment :(

Andrzej, hope everything is well with you! I’m sure you are or will be working on a fix as soon as you can :)

Help

Have loved the app for years. Been trying to add a new card and I keep getting a “cannot connect to server… please try again later” error. Any suggestions?

UPDATE: looks like other people are having this issue too… I can no longer access the developer website any more.

No longer works

Always get the message ‘can’t connect to server’.

Not working

Keep getting error that server is not available

Doesn’t work anymore

We were unable to connect to the service at this time.
Please check your internet connection and try again later.

No longer works

Used to be a great app but now no longer works and looks like developer has stopped the support to fix issues. Now it just says it cannot connect to server so you cannot save your cards.

No longer able to add to wallet

This worked for me but recently now I am not able to add any new cards. Something about the connection on the app’s side! Please fix
