The Passkeys App revolutionizes account sign-ins by eliminating the need for traditional passwords. It allows you to create and use passkeys, which are stronger, more secure, and easier to manage than passwords. You can use your device's biometric features like Face ID or Touch ID for quick and secure access.
Passkeys are inherently strong, unguessable, and unique to each website or app, making them phishing-proof. All data within the app is encrypted, including when stored in iCloud, ensuring only you can access your information. The app is built on FIDO Alliance and W3C standards for next-generation security.
Key features include passwordless login using biometrics, inherently strong and private passkeys, encrypted backups for data protection, and seamless synchronization across all your Apple devices. It also offers phishing-proof security by tying passkeys to specific services.
The app offers a freemium model. You can use it for free to add up to two accounts. For unlimited usage and to add more than two accounts, a subscription is required.
The app synchronizes accounts across all Apple devices, suggesting compatibility with iPhones, iPads, and Macs that support Face ID or Touch ID for biometric authentication. Specific iOS and macOS version requirements are not detailed but implied by the biometric features.
