Looks great from the outside , but completely useless..
I need an app that I can install on a tablet inside a sidewalk snow plow to keep track of streets that have / have not been cleared. Running on an iPad mini 4 the refresh time on the GPS signal is so painfully slow, it cannot update location faster than about one minute intervals, despite changing the update interval settings and every setting imaginable.. I was really hoping this app would smash it out of the park for my needs, but I’m seriously disappointed. I’ll try it on my iPhone 15 to see if the experience is any better, but the whole point was to use this offline on the larger screen of a tablet.

Find Location
I have used Pathaway for several years and thoroughly recommend it! Its good to be able to use it to help plan your own walks, rather than be faced with a choice of walks pre-planned by others. The Find Location function is great because it takes you to a place you have identified as long as you want in advance of actually being there. Again excellent for planning walks. The trouble is the “Find Location” no longer works on my mobile. Is this a glitch in the latest update? If so when will it be fixed? Advice please!

A bit misunderstood
PathAway is a great and flexible app for those who needs to create routes, proximity alarms and Gps navigation.
Try not to compare it with regular driving apps, this isn’t it.
It is great if you want to CREATE your own stuff. And you need reminders along the way.
It is too bad people that does not understand its features gives bad reviews.
This is a real Gps navigation app.

No way to contact developer
I purchased the pro edition for old phone after updating phone all it does is give me the basic. Complete waste of money and Apple also was no help.
Great GPS application
I have used PathAway since I had a Palm Pilot and was glad to see they successfully migrated to the iPhone. I use it for hiking and mountain biking and it’s a very robust mapping application. I use the LE version and keep eyeing the Pro version because I want to use offline maps.
I successfully installed and calibrated my custom maps.
It has a good user interface and very customizable. Would recommend the GPS mapping application to anyone the goes ‘off trail.’
