The app is having lots of issues

For the last couple of weeks the app is not working properly. Now I’m unable to use it and this is only way I get around in Albania. I’m completely disappointed

Weird

In America the drivers are not allowed to consistently keep canceling customers because they don’t want to go to that place or they want more money! That is not allowed. The amount of time I sit and wait when I get off the plane is insane because they don’t want to go a short distance and want more money!

Free rides” only in ads disastrous experience and unprofessional support

Very disappointing experience. In my case, the discounts and Tokos rarely worked as expected, and the final taxi prices were often close to normal prices. I also had issues finding available taxis in Elbasan even when taxi companies themselves were available by phone. Support was not very helpful when I reported problems. I hope the service improves because the idea of the app is good.

Of all the taxi apps in Tirana, this was by far the easiest to use and navigate (and it’s very stable). Great service from the driver!

No so reliable

Limited drivers even in city center. Drivers can cancel the ride and if you schedule a ride there is no guarantee they will get you a ride at the time you scheduled. Drivers cancel all the time and then new ones may just say the will show up later anyways. Payment system is strange and one of my drivers had a different license plate than the app displayed.

THE BEST APP

Patoko is the best app to use for Taxis. It’s easy, fast, cheap, and gives you the best experience. It has great drivers, and gives you rewards for everytime u use it, which is great whether you have long-distance rides and use TOKO to have discounts, or when you just need to go home and use TOKO for free rides. CHECK CASH / CARD METHOD

I downloaded the app because it said you can use card. Booked the taxi and added my card and by that point he said I had accepted cash and forced me to take cash out of a machine which charged me 15%! The app doesn’t help or support you to ensure you add a card first and to pick your payment method. Don’t make the same mistake I did!

Taxi meter is a scam

App says taxi meter is better pricing when it will really cost you 25 euros to go 2km. When a trip to the airport which is 40km is only 30 euros

We have several different pricing models within our app. Taximeter is the rate set by the taxi - Many times the pricing with this method can vary by distance and traffic. Our typical pricing (when taxi meter is not selected) is flat rate, so should be a better price for what you described. I have found this app to be incredibly helpful for cab rides on Albania. I could not find an address on the app and used the in app help…within a minute they had added my destination. 5 star service. Thank you.

Horrible scammy app

Got scammed on my taxi ride from Tirana airport using this app. Submitted a report and haven’t heard back. 100% would not recommend
