Backyard Breeders
I can’t with good conscience use this app. There are so many backyard breeders posting it makes my stomach churn. According to the ASPCA, 334,000 dogs were euthanized at US shelters in 2024. Providing a platform for unlicensed people to find breeding mates to create MORE dogs, in that kind of environment, is disgraceful.

Invasive Personal Data Requirements!
The requirement for so much owner data, age etc is a reason to cancel the signup! This isn’t a dating app, my age is irrelevant!! Im looking for playmates for my pup, not myself!
Mostly good
I’m fairly new to the app and was pleasantly surprised to find a lot of potential friends for my pup in my area. Interface was pretty easy to navigate and I like the simplicity. There are two things I would change if I could: 1) Requirement to add some text to the dog’s profiles to describe their temperament etc; and 2) Remove profiles that are seeking dogs to breed their dogs with (there are a LOT of these on the app). Seriously, shelters are overfull and dogs are being euthanized daily, so seeing profiles that say “we are seeking a dog for our dog to breed and start a family with” literally makes my stomach churn.
