About
a journal that builds itself from a few taps.
for the days when keeping a journal matters but writing one is too much. Pawprint asks a handful of concrete questions — how did you sleep, how's the battery, what happened — and assembles a proper journal entry from what you tapped and the words you used. under thirty seconds, taps only, done.
how it works
• tap how the day went. every question has a skip, and "dunno" is a real answer.
• add a note if you want — type it or dictate it. blank is fine.
• Pawprint writes it up as a journal entry, using your words exactly as you said them.
• your year fills in as a grid of coloured pixels. one glance shows the shape of a month.
what Pawprint never does
• no AI. nothing is generated, rephrased, or summarised. every word in your journal is yours — which also means it holds up anywhere a journal has to be genuinely your own work.
• no hot streaks to break. missed days stay quiet — never red, never "failed" — and you can fill in any day later.
• no nagging. reminders are off by default. if you turn them on, they're one quiet question, and logging a day means it never asks about it.
• no wellness theatre. no gratitude prompts, no breathing exercises, no "journey". it's a logbook, not a lecture.
• it never asks "how do you feel?". it asks about sleep, energy, and the body instead — and feelings can arrive later. add to any day whenever the words turn up.
the companion
a small hand-drawn dog or cat keeps you company. it's always pleased to see you — it can't get sad, hungry, or disappointed, and it never needs feeding. it just celebrates when you log.
private by default
no account, no email, no sign-up screen. entries live on your phone and in your own locked-down rows on a server in Sydney that only your device can read. dictation happens entirely on the phone — audio never leaves it, and the mic simply hides if on-device recognition isn't available. no ads, no
trackers, no third-party anything.
take it with you
export any date range as markdown or PDF, built on your phone and handed to the share sheet. your journal never transits anyone else's server.
made for people who've been told to keep a journal — for a course, a therapist, or themselves — and bounce off every app that turns it into
homework. great for the neurodivergent among us!
