Manner issues
I expected to be addressed in a professional manner, such as by my name or with an appropriate honorific. Considering that this organization operates in Japan, where customer service is generally known for its high standards of professionalism and courtesy, this experience was particularly surprising and disappointing.
Professional communication is an important part of customer service. I hope the organization provides additional training to its staff to ensure customers are addressed respectfully and appropriately in future interactions.
