High hopes poor execution
I had high hopes this would be better than another AI pickleball app. The graphics are great, feedback is good but as it turns out, there is no remote for the watch, you can only record 20 minutes at a time, meaning that you have to remove and turn recording off on your device after each and every game. Does not analyze any video over 20 minutes. And if there is ANYTHING wrong from the start of the video, it will not analyze the video. You get your minutes back but the constant back and forth of starting and stopping video manually on your phone and making sure it is perfectly set each time makes it not worth the subscription yet.

It should be 30 minutes for the restriction on upload length. Can you let us know where it shows 20 minutes so we can fix that? support@pb.vision . Yeah sorry we don’t have Apple Watch control yet, hopefully someday!

Pickleball! vision has caught like wildfire at our Pickleball! hall. It is so great provides such great stats, and points out everything that I need to do better next time! Better focus on iPhone needed
I love this app. It works well the majority of the time. I am a top tier subscriber and user. My biggest comments for when this app fails are when the iPhone camera (16 Pro max) and it loses focus and records whole game out of focus. Also have noticed that night time recordings with court lights often fail from side view when using insta360 ASE pro 2 camera. Works fine during daylight

Regarding the iPhone camera issue— I have the same device but haven’t ever seen this out of focus behavior. Can you reach out to support@pb.vision when it happens next? It will send us the logs so we can try to fix it.

Keep swinging
Why is the app so skinny? Like 3” max wide on my iPad…feels claustrophobic. Now, on performance, fantastic 1st impression but that wears off quick. It does feel like 1st gen AI. I want something more than some really nice graphics and historical stats. I want a live experience—imagine practicing your serve and hearing the ai evaluate each one as they happen, including a video of your swing overlay the benchmark swing, and make that data come alive. Anyway, despite my expectations you should try this app for yourself, its still cool and a glimpse of early AI applied to sports

Sorry we never built out proper iPad support. I’ll speak with the team on it. Edit: we now have iPad Support! One thing you could do is try the app on a laptop from the browser or browser on your iPad vs the iOS app. I personally only record through the app and review on my computer.
It doesn’t work
On my 1 hour video, it identified only two players which were warming up. No hint for the actual match.

The UI is well designed and intuitive. It is easy to upload videos recorded on my phone and check the status of the upload and processing progress. The option to see stats as an Overview, as a Team, or as player is amazing. When using shot explorer navigation to the correct player and viewing shots is a breeze with the filter. Needs a little fine tuning on shot names but gets it right most of the time. The overlays help focus the viewers attention and provide feedback as to how the AI is analyzing the video. At times the overlays tend to disappear and don’t come back on until I restart the app. Sharing the video with others easy and viewing the video without the app is a great feature. They are open to feedback and suggestions for improvements. By far this is my favorite pickleball video review app.
Updated Review 2026. I’m downgrading the review because there are bugs doing basic things like watching on repeat, adjusting playback speed, and contacting support in the app.
Jan 31 Update does not fix watch shot on repeat. Video goes black and playback errors are occurring. I selected a highlight and waited 15 minutes, and the video did not play. When the AI gets something wrong, there is not a manual way to fix it. The fact that it cannot be corrected makes all the game stats wrong.

Tutorial does not work and disables the app
I love the interface and AI works very well but when you try to do the tutorial for the extra 360 minutes, it says to filter, but you can't filter because there's no filter button that it's pointing hands and you can't skip that step or get through it on the app or website I tried both which is very upsetting.

Cool Idea, needs work
I love the concept but dislike the model. It’s unclear how the pricing works. It wasn’t able to distinguish points vs random touches of the ball. It couldnt follow a side change. It’s expensive.
Great pickleball analysis tool
The latest feature to automatically rate players is very helpful. It helps me to recognize my good games and bad games. Also to tell the true skill level of my friends.
PB Vision works perfectly to measure my trend
I really enjoy the new skill rating and I don’t need to pay $xx / month to join DUPR rated games!
Too expensive
Great app, I wish it had a monthly subscription and not just a yearly price. I used it during the beta and have a bunch of credits from then, however, I can’t use them unless I have a subscription.

My data doesn’t leave with me
From the privacy policy as per 5/25: “If you request to delete your account, your account will no longer be associated with the videos you have uploaded, however we will retain the videos for continued use in training and improving our AI model.” I would like an option where my videos are not retained.

Great Insights
This app is super cool. Upload recorded matches and get intelligence on your game play. How often do you get to the kitchen? How often do you speed up? How successful are you at hitting deep serves and deep returns? PB Vision will tell you and much more!
FREE USE LIMIT
Thought this was pretty misleading. The app is great but nowhere at this time does it say there are in-app purchases. There is also a free use limit and at this time it says you need to contact support in order to get subscription pricing. I’m guessing this is how they are getting around saying there is “in-app” purchases as you have to get in touch with the company itself to subscribe.
