Why?
Why charge for an app if you won’t even let people put their true weight unless they are under 265lbs.
Has good potential but isn’t there yet
Has the right elements they just don’t work. The lessons don’t play. The food tracking is not accurate or helpful. The meals are too over the top for every day. The workouts are too short. If they work on developing the elements more and actually get someone with PMOS knowledge behind it, it could be very helpful and useful.

Worst PCOS app ever
Literally expects you to be a certain kind of way boxed you in specifically on certain aspects can track your proper weight. Doesn’t give a free trial at all tried make you pay a absurd amount for cheap information
fake free subscription
subscription was too high, went to delete and the deal was still too much so they offered i could email to get it for free and gave me a dead email that doesnt deliver anything. i wouldve been fine just deleting and moving on but doing all of that is kinda cruel
Helpful Features, Needs Improvement
I really like a lot of the features this app offers. The cycle tracking, workouts, water tracking, recipes, and general food logging are all helpful, and I think the app has a lot of potential.
However, the food feedback can be discouraging and feels overly restrictive at times. For example, I logged a banana and the app essentially flagged it as a poor choice for PCOS because of its sugar and glycemic impact. I also had a yogurt and received similar feedback. I understand that blood sugar and carbohydrate intake can be relevant to PCOS, but labeling everyday foods like fruit and yogurt as “suboptimal” feels unnecessarily negative.
Another issue is that the app does not seem to clearly distinguish between naturally occurring sugar and added sugar when giving its daily sugar feedback. This makes the sugar limit feel misleading, especially when foods like fruit and dairy are contributing to the total.
I think the app would be much more helpful if it focused on the overall quality and balance of someone’s diet rather than making individual foods feel “good” or “bad.” I want to use the app to understand my habits and support my health, not feel guilty for eating a banana.
Overall, I like the features enough to keep using it, but I hope the nutrition feedback becomes more nuanced and less restrictive. Wish I didn’t spend $70 for the year.

$20 a month to prey on women that have run out of options
This app is so scummy. The original subscription price is $20/month. If you don’t go for it they offer you a discount. If you still don’t take that, they offer another discount but still no free trial, just week free trial if you sign up for $20/month after the week is over.
Not to mention the app is riddled with AI, someone just threw the app together to prey on women that are tired of dealing with PCOS. Women, please, I urge you, see a nutritionist. Get the bloodwork done. Keep seeing doctors until something helps you, because an app is not going to.

Great app and even better people who run it!
I was diagnosed with pmos a year or two ago and it has been a struggle trying to find an app that tailors to your nutritional needs. It’s even better that they have recipes, it’s always a struggle to find pmos friendly recipes, saves so much time no longer having to scour the internet for recipes or information on pmos. When I first got the app, it required a subscription, I did not have the funds at the time and had seen people reach out to Sarah where she provided a free subscription for a year. I did the same and reached out, she gave me a free year of the app and I’m loving it <3

Nothings free
I was really excited to try this after hearing good things sadly 0 features are free to use. Simply can’t afford $14 a week.
Why can’t an app that will actually help be free
Genuinely I will never understand the greed. I get it but at the same time, offer a plan with ads or something that’s free like wtf.
Not worth it UNLESS they fix this issue
Don’t be like me an impulsively buy the lifetime subscription ( especially discounted.) I regret that, this app seems great but I don’t use it anymore since the uploading part of the food is completely off. You can log your meal, and then do it again and it give you two completely different numbers. Ontop of that the scanning of the food doesn’t work. It seems like it did when I did a free trail. As soon as I paid for the app I would scan in a coffee that had the nutrient label stating all the facts, and the scanner was completely off. I did it multiple times where it gave me numbers such as calories 100, 300, 500 etc. okay no big deal. I’ll manually add food to my log. I did that, and again it gave me completely different numbers. It makes me question how creditable this is in tracking meals, tracking exercise as well as tips it provides. It really sucks because I feel this would be a great tool if the developers really cared about women with PCOS instead of sloppily slapping together a program that looks promising but isn’t. Just another money grab. I wasted $60 just to go back to a free app that I’ve been using for years. Hopefully you don’t have to.

Easy to use
I love how easy it is to use the app and makes my life so much easier since I don’t have to think of anything with meal prep or remember numbers for tracking
Life changing
I thought no one felt the way I did, now I have a sisterhood. I recommend this app over all the others I’ve tried. Sarah is an amazing human and I’m so blessed to have found this app ♡
Amazing app and even more amazing support!!!
I was looking for a PCOS app to help me better understand and manage my symptoms, but I couldn’t afford the subscription. I reached out to support hoping they might have a solution, and Sarah responded with so much kindness and understanding. She provided me with a full year of the app for free and even told me to reach out again next year if I still needed help.
It’s rare to find a company that genuinely cares about making its resources accessible to people who need them. The app itself has been incredibly helpful, and the customer support is truly outstanding. If you’re considering downloading PCOS Pal, I highly recommend it. And if cost is holding you back, don’t be afraid to reach out—they treat people with compassion and respect.
Thank you, Sarah, and the PCOS Pal team, for making me feel supported. ❤️

Can’t justify pricing for pcos
I can afford or justify the price for this it seems like a really good up just diabolical of pricing I have pcos and I’m trying to find an app to help and having to pay is just too much
Thieves!!
I literally canceled my free subscription ahead of time and they charged me anyway! Now i have to fight to get my money back dishonest and i didnt even find it helpful to make it worst
PCOS, yes!
The app is super easy and efficient! For someone like me who newly discovered PCOS my life is slowly starting to make sense. With PCOS Pal I know I’m taking the right steps to help better my life and health! Looking forward to the future on this app!
Requires subscription & negative language/ fear mongering
My review is only based on the opening of the app, which requires you to answer 30 or so question about your relationship with your PCOS and your body and self confidence. All of them have a negative connotation towards PCOS and don’t offer the opportunity to be positive. For example: what prevents you from going on a night out? Your body? Your weight? Your self confidence? There was no neutrality or positivity in those initial questions and makes me wonder what kind of subtle language things like that are within the app. Personally, I don’t want to approach my health from a place of powerlessness and “gain back my power”. There’s also no free option for using the app without paying for a subscription!

Don’t recommend for some people
I didn’t like how it’s basically centered around weight loss. I’m like 108 lbs and don’t need to lose weight. There are a million other pcos symptoms that could be addressed.
Not free
I downloaded that app thinking it would be free and it isn’t back to square one on helping manage pcos
