No watch app

Not very happy with the PDGA live app and being forced to use my phone in between every hole… no map, no watch app, Come on yall, how can you let UDISC constantly one up you.. get the watch app already.. would be so much easier during tournaments. Having to bring out your phone every hole is just annoying and causes unnecessary distraction.. please get the watch app going.. with a lil map to see the hole would be nice also…

Lack of info

App navigation is terrible, and should contain a lot more data. You can’t even see your own pdga account/ profile in the app.

Acceptable but…

This app works for live scoring during tournaments, but it would be so much better if it linked to Apple Watch (like uDisc). This would allow initial setup via the phone but during the round I could do scoring for me and card mates on the watch much more conveniently.

Bring back UDisc

UDisc is a proven platform. Why aren’t we using it?

Getting better

Request: On the Premier Schedule, I don’t want to have to scroll down a list looking at dates, just to figure out the next pro tour event. You could easily always pin the next event at the very top…or hide past events, unless you toggle to show them.

Apple Watch scoring?

I miss UDisc ability to keep score using my Apple Watch. I do enjoy how PDGA Live verifies that the Card scores in tournament match each other. Please add Apple Watch Scoring. Thank you!

Ads in Live Scoring

Terrible decision to put ads in the live scoring. And why? I’d like to think paying for a membership would mean not having to deal with this.

Should be UDisc

App is ok at best and works some of the time. I’ve never played a tournament where it didn’t crash AT LEAST TWICE. Scoring should be done with UDisc so all the nice features of that app and the fact it is a stable app can used by players. With everyone on every card having to score now, there is no excuse for a semi-functional app. UDisc is fully functional. PDGA should drop this app and use one that actually works and is well designed.

Wonky

This app has a mind of its own. Aka it does not work as it’s supposed to. Favorites do not always work. I have dark mode on and it goes from light to dark mode. UDisc was far superior for tracking.

Favorites won’t save!

About 50% of the time when opening the app the favorites have not saved.

Needs Smartwatch Support (Desperately)

Aside from seemingly endless freezing, technical issues, the lack of smartwatch support is baffling.

UDisc had that YEARS ago.

Now that the PDGA is forcing literally everyone to use this, there should be no excuse for how busted this is.

Not everyone has a smartwatch, but those of us who do really like keeping the phone in the bag.

Add watch scoring

Would like to see the ability to have Apple Watch support for scoring like UDisc has done.

Sometimes new isn’t better

Wouldn’t even have this app if the Pro scores were still on Udisc. This app is inferior in almost every way.

Needs work

Navigation is often unclear or altogether missing - say when you go to your own scorecard, for example. There’s no way to view the results of that tournament in real time unless you exit your card entirely.

Also need a player tracking feature. Would be nice to star a few players you like per event and have their scores pinned to the top instead of having to scroll to find them. Just general search functionality on the results page at all should be a no brainer but it’s not there.

Lacking

Not nearly as good as UDisc. The money grabs by the PDGA are turning many of us away from the sport

Apple Watch

Not compatible with Apple Watch.

Work to do

I’m sure things are still in devlopment, but I miss a lot from Udisc:

- ability to select and track favorites
- current weather conditions
- cut line
- USDGC qualifying spots
- Grip6Pick6

Hoping these features are still coming.

Should’ve perfected the app before taking over udisc

How hard is it to see what udisc did and copy? It makes no sense to me. I’ve sent 5 or 6 feedbacks in the app all different issues where pdga live doesn’t offer the same thing udisc did. Pdga just continues to do the opposite of what I think is right

Can't favorite players

Best part about Udisc live for me was favoriting players. Now I gotta sort by A-Z then scroll. Terrible

It’s Okay

Biggest issue is no watch support for score keeping. I try and not take extra things with me while playing and having to take my phone out every hole is a major drawback.

Wish I could login to see my upcoming and past events. It would also reduce the steps I need when using an access code to get setup for a tournament.
