Long time pearl user
I am a frequent user of the app- imaging is an issue- does not consistently open . Two or more years between updates.
If you make post op calls to your patients you can easily dictate a note. The dictation integrates well with my iPhone.
You can look up patients or referrals for after hours phone calls, however, you may not be able to down load a radiograph to review (even with excellent Wi-Fi or cellular signal).
Carestream has multiple monthly charges for the app on one device
I now have Citrix virtual desktop- and go to my PC- may be a better and less expensive solution in the long run- updates are more frequent

Pearl is worthless, less than one star
This app must be low on carestream’s list of priorities. I have been a softdent user for many years. I have had pearl app for a few years. It has never worked consistently. The IT people seem to not care if it works or not. Obviously the last update was 2015 shows their lack of interest.
Complete Waste of Money
Worthless app with $1000(+) price tag. Unable to log-in, call support, waste a ton of time, unable to log-in a week later. Company line is that "your server is the problem". Trust me, after 4 years of this run around, Carestream is the problem. LogMeIn app is free, this one is insanely expensive. LogMeIn
allows you to see your schedule and radiographs, you can't access Pearl when you need to. Easy decision to skip this garbage app.

Apple OS8 compatibility issues
App worked great before OS8- now the app locks up with the Call List function- you can't write a note.
