What's New in Pebbles
1.3
October 7, 2026
New features - Paths widget. It's a second home-screen widget in small, medium, and large that lists every path with its count, in Home order. - Cover photo framing. - Prelude and epilogue pebbles. A pebble can now be dated before a path starts or after it ends. It shows under "Before the path" or "After the end" with a chip. - Importance orders the day. Pebbles on the same day now sort gem, charm, pebble. Card size follows importance: a pebble card is compact and a gem takes more room. - Hollow window in Settings. You choose how many upcoming hollows each path shows: 1, 3, 5, or 10. You also choose how many passed ones: 0, 1, 3, or 5. - Hollows section in Edit Path stays the same for private and shared paths. Photo viewer - Pinch zooms around your fingers, and you can pan while pinching with momentum. - Swipe down to close, or swipe right on the first photo. - Photos can be downloaded now. Fixes - Background crash. Two TestFlight kills happened when the app suspended during a CloudKit sync. The app now waits for the sync to finish before it suspends. - Home reorder. Dragging a card snapped it back whenever a path shared with you was in the list. That is fixed, and the position of a shared path stays on your device. - Adjust Cover on a real phone. The photo would not pan for square or portrait covers. The scrolling sheet was taking the drag, and moving the frame out of the scroll area fixed it. Smaller changes - Settings' Endless Paths section keeps only Get Endless Paths. Restore and Redeem stay on the paywall. - Unused stored values and dead branches were removed, and Xcode builds no longer rewrite the string catalogs.
