Latest update broke the solar input tracking/display. Also makes the secondary batteries. To display havoc the time. Terrible update that should not have been rolled out.

Wish I'd installed this sooner
Six stations between the house, the shop and the van, and used to walk to every single one just to check the battery. Not anymore - they're all right there on one screen. The power flow page is my favorite, you can see exactly what's charging and what's draining, and flipping the AC output on from the couch never gets old. The stats page is fun too, cool to see how many kWh the panels have racked up. Setup took a couple of minutes. Nice app.

Solid Performance
Iâve read the other review, and am a bit confused. The chief concern seems to do with older hardware compatibility with this app. I have a newer model, so havenât encountered that yet.
If youâre buying/bought new hardware, expect this app to do nearly everything you can do on the local device + slightly more powerful/insightful data reporting.
Is it as smooth/powerful as the more established brands? No⊠but then again I paid half price comparably. Needless to say, my expectations are well past exceeded. ć æČčPecronć·„çšćžăèŻ·ç»§ç»æäŸçĄŹä»¶èœŻä»¶æŽæ° đđŸđđŸ

Connection Problems
Difficult to maintain WiFi or Bluetooth connections. The statistics either disappear or simply fail to update in the app.
Pecron wonât do firmware updates
The app itself is nothing special. It does what you need it to do for the most part but poor translation and UI design make some things harder than they should be. The main issue is that Pecron refuses to publish ANY firmware updates for their hardware which means any features they have added to the app will never be added to your power station. My F1000 can have charge and discharge limits in the app but my F3000 canât for example, for no reason other than they just wonât push an update to enable it. Wish I had known this before buying.

Bring Back Offline Bluetooth Control
All I want is to open the app, connect to my Pecron over Bluetooth, check the battery percentage and input/output wattage, and turn the AC output on or off. Thatâs it.
The frustrating part is that the app used to allow direct Bluetooth connections without an internet connection, but that functionality has been removed. Now the app insists on connecting to the internet first, and if it canât, the entire experience falls apart.
If you donât have internet accessâlike when youâre campingâthe app wonât even list your devices. Why does a Bluetooth controller need the internet just to show hardware sitting three feet away?
Bluetooth itself is incredibly unreliable. It connects maybe one out of a hundred attempts, and when it does, it feels like a miracle rather than a feature. I intentionally installed my power station in a location thatâs difficult to access because I expected the app to handle basic remote control. Instead, Iâm constantly crawling around to press buttons manually.
To make matters worse, my E1000LFP will randomly drop to 0% even when it isnât actually empty. When that happens, the station becomes unusable until itâs connected to solar or AC power for 30+ minutes before it will turn back on. That completely defeats the purpose of taking it camping and relying on it after dark when thereâs no sunlight available.
At this point, itâs getting very close to making me sell my Pecron power stations and switch to another brand that allows direct Bluetooth access while offline. Reliable local Bluetooth control isnât a luxuryâitâs an essential feature for a portable power station thatâs often used where internet service doesnât exist.
This app doesnât need cloud features or Wi-Fi. It needs dependable, direct Bluetooth control that works every time, with no internet required. Let me connect, see live battery and power data, and toggle the AC output. Thatâs the entire job, and unfortunately the app currently fails at it.

Was on the fence
I wasnât sure about PECRON but I bought two F3000LFP Power Stations, day one powered a portable AC drawing 950w for 3.5 hours on a 90 degree Oklahoma summer day. It ran FLAWLESSLY, no dips, nothing. The app, this is what was great. Its runtime estimates stayed true through the whole test. I read bad things about the old app (I never used) but this one is great! Iâm coming from the Anker Solix Ecosystem and though itâs still early, I HAVE NO REGRETS! Looking to add two F5000âs and when they come back in stock, two F1000âs to the fleet!
